It's a very beautiful work. I like the effect of melting tones of colours in the background. It seems as if the forest was enchanted. The bed in the bottom left hand corner looks even brighter this way. Well done and a

Really don't know how I pulled that one! It's a product of some accidentality and unexpected effects. But from my experiences, that kinde of pictures turn out to be the best...

Oh but I mess up, and some big time! But usually when I have a lot of details to paint I use a little water as possible to get wanted colour, so it doesn't diffuse all over the paper. And then I don't mess up but I'm not satesfied either because I miss that characteristic watercolour look, kind of messy and with unexpected effects.

Problem is that i always spend ahelllotoftime on sketching... So I throw away a lot of time if i mess up aquarell

understand you completly! I have faced this promblem just these days. I've spend couple days sketching, and now I'm affraid to touch it, and still I'm not completly satesfied with poses, and stuff... best watercolours allways are product of random effects, just like my ''Faelishi Avethyn Morningstar'' picture, I had only Shadowwallker's rough sketch, and the background randomly come out while I was painting, without any sketching...

I'm not sure, really, since this is kind of a sub-story... (she and her husband are the main-characters in the prologue to book three.) But I am considering using this pic for an illustrated copy. ^^ hehe. I have it uploaded to elfwood, but that's down for the moment, so I'm struggling to upload it somewhere else... Elfwood isn't all that good, really... :S *sigh* But I'll be sure to give you a link when I have one.

yes don't know what is happening with Elfwood it's third or fourth crash in a week... It was my favourite site, but now I'm more focused to deviantart, it's quicker and people comment much more here...

I know. And a lot of them are kinder, too. It's easier to subit your art, and it's easier to see the arts of those who comment. The only thing missing from Deviantart is that "outsiders" can't comment.

I think it's great how the lines and colors of her dress tie in with the surrounding trees. It's almost like it's her forest. Nice use of that red ribbon - really makes the image pop.
