Dawnmaiden spirit from Croatian Tales from Long Ago collection of faerytales written by Ivana Brlic Mazuranic.Dawnmaiden rises from the sea every morn with the firs rays of sun in her silver boat with golden paddles. And to the people that abide her for three days and three nights not fishing, she grants a single wish. But sometimes she gave you not what you want but what you need...

Wow... It's awesome how you seem to play around with different colores, yet they don't clash at all.
It's a very peaceful and mysterious setting that's just making me wish to be there as well ^o^
Very good coloring and you definitely put effort in details, like the soft waves, the water itself or how it hits the little boat. Of course there are also the sweet little birds and the beautiful boat and the design on the purple belt.

^^ I'm glad you find it helpful. As I'm painting (thought not very good) myself I know constructive critice/comments are better than "It's so beautiful, I love it", thought there's nothing wrong with those words either.

Haljina i sunce izgledaju fenomenalno, a i dupini su super.
Jedino što je malo problematično jest kontrast: čitava je slika malo presvijetla. Kad bi more i nebo bili malo tamniji (kao što i jesu u zoru), njezina bi figura puno više blistala na suncu i time bi imala puno jači efekt. (Usput: jel ikad dorađuješ slike u Photoshopu ili ih samo direktno skeniraš?)
Svaka čast za ilustriranje Ivane Brlić-Mažuranić. Mislim da njezine bajke itekako zaslužuju više pažnje.

pa do sada ih nisam doradjivala u Photoshopu, osim odrezivanja viskova, al mislim da bi mogla malo to doraditi, pa da vidim kako ce to ispasti...
planiram jos neke bajke iz Prica iz davnina ilustrirati, al sve ovisi kolko cu vremena imati...
