Description
The son of Rocks Pirates' crewmen- Harlequin D. Buster, was raised in Gol D. Roger's crew to be a cabin boy until the disbanding of the crew and the subsequent death of the captain via execution. Distraught by the loss and the traumas of his adventures, Buggy would settle in the East Blue, being a low-key Pirate until Luffy forced him into an escalation of rising up in the world- becoming a Warlord and then an Emperor when the Warlord system was abolished. He would become the puppet leader of Cross Guild until a chance encounter with Vile D. Daemon leads to a conversation that reveals a horrible truth- that the "Roger" who died in Logue Town was a man forced to look and act like Roger via the powers of the Mask-Mask Fruit while the real Roger would be converted into a Pacifista, being forced against his will to kill his old crew and even his lover, Rouge against his will until Muffy mercy kills him. With vengeance in his heart, he rushes to Mary Geoise, and makes a startling encounter with Imu, leading to an unsurprisingly quick defeat. This defeat motivates Buggy to train in the Faerie Forests of Vira, where the time goes slower/faster than in normal space, causing him to learn all he needed to know about his Devil Fruit and the types of Haki- finally living up to his hidden potential. Once cowardly, vain, lazy, selfish, cruel, etc- being a disgrace to his old crew, he mans up to be a charismatic and dangerous leader who uses his Cross Guild influences to expose the crimes of the World Elders- including Imu- leading to them having bounties on their heads- following in his audacious father, Buster's footsteps. He finds John's treasure that has a seemingly innocuous Straw Hat but it turns out to be the Moon Pirate King crown, which made him the Moon Pirate King.

He has Advanced Observation/Armament/Conquerors Haki, Water/Chaos/Space/Fire/Light Nature Haki, Flashy Justice Haki, Injustice Haki, Divine Haki, Sorcery Haki, Normal Haki, and Crazy Haki. He has a rudimentary grasp on Mana.

He is unpredictable in combat- going from goofy to serious in seconds with unorthodox fighting styles involving the misdirection of Observation Haki via his ability to disrupt those of others, his Armament Haki that has a recoil effect on enemies, and his Conqueror’s Haki that can paralyze even the most hardened foes temporarily. He’s also skilled with Chaos Haki that bends the rules of reality and has expect Sorcery Haki via his knowledge of the Poneglyphs from his training in the forests of Vira.

In its unawakened state, his Drizza powers can split themselves into pieces and rearrange themselves to fight from unpredictable angles and be immune to most slashing attacks. In his Awakened state of being the avatar of Drizza, he rearranges atoms to alter matter in any manner he wishes, regeneration from attacks, releases charged plasma attacks in the form of blue lightning, manipulates electromagnetic fields, alters his own body chemistry, etc. Though, unlike his father, he manages to add a Water Nature Haki variant to the powers- being able to cancel out Devil Edible Plant/Haki powers by splashing water via hydraulic atomic manipulation and fights in a much more refined and swordsmanship manner similar to Roger. His sword, the Damasuken- is one of the 12 Supreme Grade Meito with unpredictable properties going from being used as an extending blade, a whip, a drill, a prehensile limb, or unwinding itself into multiple blades to attack from multiple directions. With these skills, he becomes the undisputed strongest of the Cross Guild who originate from the Grand Line.
