Had been artblocking a bit in the past week, couldn't get past the filler practice pages. Ended up doodling this recurring character during class before adding more polishing at home lol.Not sure what got me to draw tank tops and jean shorts, but it isn't as ridiculous looking as many other similarly themed works you see here on dA haha. I still blame myself for drawing an AK-47/AKM at such a boring angle, but it isn't the focus anyways, so I can't be bothered.
Slight change of style, been working out lips, noses and eyes, as well as coloring method and slight anatomy proportions. Oh, and my sig has been updated, my mom helped me at finding the correct Chinese characters for my name when stylized for stamps like these~
Might as well just giver her a name in case some of you are interested to draw her, so I'd stick with "Fiona Foley" for the moment, could be subjected to change.

A stunning picture there and lovely details and great work on it!
But I hate partisans resistance fighters who breaks the rules of war like this one with no clear resistance uniform and looks like any civilian, accept you the war if so I say or dress according to the rules

But resistance fighters can't really access to a standardized uniforms. since they are....the people after all XD

Well uniforms wont be needed but the rules say they must carry a emblem/logo to stand out somewhat how Volksturm in the last days of WW2: Civilian clothes but carrying the volksturm emblem on the arm, that is a milisia, allowed form of resistance as example

Although I do miss a few elements of your older styles.
Anyway keep up the good work. This is pretty awesome. And the boring rifle angle is no problem, I do that all the time. 
One question. What is she resisting against?
Foreign Occupation?
Terminators?
Aliens?

I'm curious about which older style elements, I mean there are so many tiny differences
The old smooth shading? The more animesque looking facial features? The short lived inkings?

Well, I was gonna say the way you used to draw noses. But after doing a bit of comparison, I must say I prefer your current style.
Although inked works are always nicer. ;D

Ahh, somehow, the older nose style feels more cartoony and unique in a sense, while the current one seems to be steps away from realism.

Yeah, AKs have that tendency to be associated with resistance movements and guerillas, while the AR platform has that "Elite and Professional" look to it. XD

The AK is used WORLD WIDE anyway,so it whouldn"t be a wonder if i see a guy runing around with a Truck full of AKs at Afganistan... ._____. And yes,i was in Afganistan with my Father who served there for 3 Years.

Wow, c'est vraiment beau! J'aime la suggestion du vent puissant, balayant ses cheveux et remuant le bout de son bandage. Son visage est doux, contrastant un peu avec son armement, mais ça la rend très mignonne en même temps. Et je pense que peu importe qui prend les armes, nous sommes et restons tous humains et des égaux. Ce n'est souvent pas parce qu'on est des fous de la gachette, mais plutôt parce que nous avons des choses à défendre, comme nos amis, notre famille, nos valeurs... Et ça mérite qu'on se batte pour les converser!
Ah ha ha... Petit discours humaniste! Mais tes dessins sont très très beau et m'inspire à la paix et à l'amour, malgré la présence d'armes à feu à l'intérieur...!

Ouais, c'est vrai qu'on est prêt à tout faire pour protéger ceux que l'ont aime, ainsi que nos propres convitions.
Hmm, la plupart du temps, j'dessine des trucs militaires dans le sens que c'est relié à la défense et à la paix, d'une façon ou d'une autre, sans prôner la violence ou les horreurs. Mais souvent, c'est juste moi qui a une manie des choses avec beaucoup de détail~

Ça...m'arrive d'effacer des parties entières qui m'ont pris des heures à faire juste parce que ça contient des erreurs. XD
Alors yep, faut risquer et expérimenter de temps en temps. Haha, avant j'gribouillais dans mes marges de cahiers de notes, ça prends un peu de temps de transition avant d'être capable de travailler en grand format.

I do that as well, I have a whole collection of reference images for whatever drawing I'm planning on doing, whether it's a weapon or costume designs or OC drawings. I need to look at a lot of image in order to get my imagination going. But for some reason my imagination is not as good like it used to be when i was a kid through.
