Annie and Eva...

As both girls looked Eva and Annie suddenly felt their friend in trouble! Both rejoined each other and then they ran down the road, both suddenly sure of where their friend was being taken. "Annie!"(EVA) "Eva!"(AN) "Crystal!"(AN & EVA) Both said as they followed their hunch. Both boyfriends not to far behind. Eva ran faster than Annie as they could feel their friend was nearby, somewhere. They finally came across a house, it was dark, spooky, and looked dangerous. "Eva wait! STOP!"(SIL) Silver said. "Is this where!?"(EVA) Eva said as Annie soon joined up. "Eva! I think Crystal is in there! Come on!"(AN) Annie said trying to run past when Knuckles grabbed her arm. "What!? What's wrong Knuckles?"(AN) Eva didn't even wait, Crystal needed them, bad! So she ran on toward the house. "Annie! It's too dangerous! You don't know how powerful he is! Quick! Stop Eva before she get's hurt!"(KNU) Annie quickly turned to her friend still running to the house, Silver is trying to catch up to her to stop her. "EVA!"(AN) Annie said as she got free and ran as fast as she could to Eva. "EVA! WAIT!!!"(AN) Annie continued to yell. "COME ON ANNIE! Crystal is around here! I know it!"(EVA) Eva yelled as Silver finally caught up and grabbed her. Annie then caught up. "Eva! It's too dangerous!"(SIL) "NO! We have to try!"(EVA) Annie stopped, Eva was right! they had to try, here, soon, no not soon NOW! "Guy's, I'm sorry!"(AN) Annie said running past as Knuckles tried to catch up with her, as she ran past Eva she grabbed her arm freeing her from Silver's grasp. Both girls ran to the house and the guys were too late as they bursted through the side door, where they had felt Crystal's presence and as they neared heard her cry for help.

Crystal...

Crystal began to give up hope when suddenly, Annie and Eva bursted through the door! "EVA! ANNIE!"(CRY) Crystal said happy to see her friends. "NO! You weren't suppose to find this place!"(MEP) Mephiles said as Annie and Eva embraced Crystal and all three turned to Mephiles who was obviously angry at them. "You three are starting to become a pain! If you won't join me Crystal, then maybe it's time for you and your two friends to die!"(MEP) He said conjuring a deathly orb to obliterate Annie, Crystal, and Eva! "OVER OUR DEAD BODIES!!!"(SIL) Yelled Silver as he and Knuckles attacked Mephiles. "GIRLS GET OUT OF HERE!!!"(KNU) Knuckles commanded. Annie then motioned for Eva and Crystal to run with her. But as Crystal left Annie and Eva stayed to watch their boyfriends fight Mephiles. Crystal then came back, grabbed her friends, and dragged them out of the building. Knuckles and Silver were both battling hard, Knuckles punching while Silver used his psychic powers to attack Mephiles.

Later...

After waiting for two hours the girls finally saw Knuckles and Silver, both worn down, walking weakly toward them in the park. "Knuckles!"(AN) "Silver!"(EVA) Both girls ran to them to help them walk to where they had stopped in the park, It was twilight and everything was starting to go dark. Crystal had a fire going as Eva and Annie walked Knuckles and Silver to it. "Please sit you need rest."(AN) Annie said helping Knuckles sit while Eva did the same for Silver. There was silence as Crystal handed Annie and Eva some food to give to the guy's. Finally Silver spoke. "Why aren't you at the hotel?"(SIL) "We decided to wait for you here, besides Annie, Crystal, and I will be sleeping outdoors here soon anyway's."(EVA) Eva explained. Knuckles kept quiete and Annie feared he, and Silver, were mad at her and Eva for going in there. "Listen, I'm sorry me and Eva went in there like that, but..."(AN) Annie began as Knuckles raised his hand to silence her. "It's too late to talk about that, though we are mad, we have to say that Mephiles got away we don't know where he went all we know is that he'll be back, and next time listen to us!"(KNU) Knuckles said showing a little anger. Annie looked down respectfully. As she looked back up he was looking at her, his eye's still mad at her. "So Crystal, what happened while you were there?"(EVA) Eva asked Crystal. "Mephiles is behind all of this."(CRY) "What? What do you mean Crystal?"(EVA) Eva asked as Annie took notice and looked hard at Crystal. "Mephiles, he, he was behind everything! He was the one who chose us for that stupid fake movie of Sonic the Hedgehog! He was behind the water, and the trip here! He did all of this!"(CRY) Crystal exclaimed. This caught everyone's attention. "WHAT!!!? Seriously!"(EVA) Eva bursted, Annie motioned for her to calm down. "Yes, and there is no way back to being human."(CRY) Crystal said looking at her gloved hands. As did Annie and Eva. "So you mean, we can't go back home even?"(AN) "I Don't know, he didn't say anything on that, only that he has the last chaos emerald, it's hidden somewhere in that place he was holding me at."(CRY) "Meaning we're going to have to go back to find that last emerald."(AN) Annie said as she, Crystal, and Eva looked in the direction the house was at. Both guy's got up and in the way of their view. "OH NO you three don't!"(SIL) "Don't worry, we won't go back until we need the last emerald."(AN) "What's the point."(CRY) Crystal said suddenly sad. Both Annie and Eva turned to her. "What do you mean what's the point?"(AN) "Crystal, don't you want to go home?"(EVA) "I don't know."(CRY) Crystal said looking down, tears in her eye's. Annie and Eva looked at each other then went to comfort Crystal. "Crystal what's wrong?"(EVA) "I don't know!"(CRY) She said getting up and walking a few steps away, pacing. Eva was suddenly showing signs of anger. Annie turned to her for a question on Crystal when she saw her anger start to rise. She took out a chaos emerald and held it in her fist. "That Mephiles! When I get the chance! I'm gonna!"(EVA) She started when she suddenly started to glow. Knuckles recognized it first, then Silver. Annie reached out to touch Eva when Knuckles noticed she was about to explode in anger! Knuckles quickly ran to Annie as Silver ran to Crystal to move both of them out of the way when suddenly..... BOOM!!! Eva had used Chaos Blast! "What the?"(CRY) Crystal said suddenly confused. "Eva?"(AN) Annie said as the blast expanded only a little distance. When Eva looked up she saw that she had wiped out the scenery. As it was now dark, Annie and Crystal went back to where Eva was. "Eva!?"(CRY) Crystal asked as they reached her. "What did she just do?"(AN) Annie asked Knuckles. "A Chaos Blast!"(KNU) "Okay, is she related to Shadow in any way?"(SIL) Silver asked Annie and Crystal, both, while looking at Eva, shook their heads no. Eva had stopped her anger when she realized what she had done. Annie and Crystal approached her. "Eva? You alright?"(AN) Annie asked. Eva looked at them, then at the chaos emerald she held, it was the yellow one they had gotten from Rouge the Bat. Eva then remembered all the chaos emeralds they had, they had three, one from Rouge, another from the mountain they had foolishly climbed, and one from Silver. "Come on, how about you three spend one last night in the hotel."(SIL) Silver suggested. Eva seemed calmed down but was still angry at Mephiles for all he did. Eva and Crystal agreed but Annie wanted to sleep out here, but it was two to one so she gave in and they went back to the hotel where they slept for one more night.

The next day...

As the three girls left the hotel, early in the morning they began to exit the city that was their home for only a few day's, some terrifying day's but still, day's. The three started to walk again through the wild wilderness, with Knuckles and Silver following. Once again Annie was the 'emerald detector', but this time Knuckles walked beside her. At one point they did hold hands, but it was brief as they didn't want the others to see. As Annie and Knuckles led the way, Eva and Silver walked close behind, Crystal stayed not to far away, grateful the guy who wants her, isn't around. But who know's when Mephiles will appear next. As nighttime fell all five made a fire and started to get ready for bed. Silver did his best to make Eva comfortable, Annie slept on the ground with her jacket around a rock that served as her pillow, Crystal too slept on the ground. As for Knuckles he slept in a tree, Silver on the ground close to Eva. The chaos emeralds were safely tucked away in one of the girls backpacks. As they slept an unspeakable shadow began to loom over them. The shadow went to the girls backpacks and coming up out of the ground was Mephiles! Looking a lot like Shadow again. He silently unzipped Annie's backpack and started to search. They were not there, his next best guess was Eva. Silently he went to her's and began to search. As he did this everyone was fast asleep, until he made the mistake of making a loud sound of zipping Eva's backpack up. He quickly looked around to see who was awake. Annie heard it, fear overtook her as she knew someone was here, she heard some more unzipping and quickly looked up to see Knuckles fast asleep, her back to whoever was doing this, and tried to think of a way to wake him up without making a sound. While Mephiles searched Crystals, Annie quickly grabbed a rock and threw it at Knuckles, and actually managed to hit him. He opened his eye's and looked down at Annie, she had a feared look in her eye's, and looking up saw Mephiles looking into the pocket where the chaos emeralds were. Annie then thought of something, she had only one shot, so she had to get the location right, as Mephiles looked deeper she whispered. "Teleport!"(AN) Suddenly she was standing behind Mephiles, he stopped, "So, you're awake and what are you going to do to me?"(MEP) Mephiles said turning to Annie as she suddenly swished her arms down and said "Heavens light!"(AN) Suddenly everyone was awake as Mephiles was blinded by the light. Annie then grabbed the chaos emeralds that were in his hands, then Knuckles jumped over Annie and punched Mephiles in the face! "What the heck is going on!?"(EVA) Eva said awakened by the bright light. Crystal and Silver were up as well. Mephiles was still blinded by the light for a while as Knuckles continued to attack. Then Silver attacked Mephiles using his psychic powers. When Crystal awoke she saw Mephiles and got slightly scared until she realized he was blinded and was trying to escape. He ran into a tree while running. As Knuckles and Silver retrieved Mephiles and dragged him back to the camp, Crystal and Eva started up the fire again so that they can see. As Mephiles was sat down Eva didn't hesitate to punch him in the face. "That was for doing all this to us!"(EVA) Eva said as Silver tried to hold her back from throwing another. "Eva, calm down before you explode!"(SIL) Silver said as Annie approached. "Why were you taking the chaos Emeralds!?"(AN) She asked seriously. He began to laugh. "You think this is funny!? Mephiles!"(KNU) Knuckles said about to punch him also in the face. He continued to laugh. "You think you'll be able to go home so easily! I won't allow you to leave! Not until Crystal stays with me!"(MEP) "Not going to happen!"(AN) Annie said not about to throw her friend so that she and Eva may go home. He continues to laugh. "Crystal is of bare use to you, why do you need her?"(MEP) "I said, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! We won't give you our friend!"(AN) Eva then said. "You think we'd give up Crystal just to go home! We need Crystal!"(EVA) She said about to get extremely angry. Annie too was getting mad as well. Knuckles grabbed and lifted Mephiles off the ground. "You think these girls will give up their friend just for a trip home!? You had better right this wrong or I'll hurt you."(KNU) "As soon as I can see again, I'll make sure all of you die here in this world!"(MEP) Mephiles said laughing again. Knuckles then punched Mephiles. Annie wasn't liking this anger Knuckles was showing, and she could tell, neither were her friends. "I won't ever right the wrong I did to these girls. And I won't make it easy for them to return home!"(MEP) Mephiles said as Knuckles then threw another punch. "You leave these three alone Mephiles! Leave Annie, leave Eva, and leave Crystal alone! What wrong have they done!?"(KNU) "None, they are all part of an experiment, that is all. And I have fallen in love with..."(MEP) Mephiles said aiming his eye's at Crystal. Eva then got in the way, as too did Annie. That was when Mephiles started to see again. As he did his eye's went to Knuckles who was still holding him. "And you shall die!"(MEP) Mephiles said using his dark power to throw a spear into Knuckles! "KNUCKLES!!!"(AN) Annie cried out as Knuckles dropped Mephiles. "I'll be back! Unless Crystal gives up, one by one, you will fall!"(MEP) Then he dissapeared into smoke and left the scene. Annie ran to Knuckles. "KNUCKLES!!! Knuckles! Are you alright?"(AN) Annie said as Knuckles fell to the ground. He looked up at Annie, he was dying! He rolled onto his back and Annie inspected his wound, right through the stomache! "No, No, NO!!! Knuckles! Knuckles! Please! Get up!"(AN) Annie said as she lifted his weakening head. The others watched on as Annie tried to stop the bleeding. (N) Nayu thought to her. Annie nearly forgot! Her healing spell. "This had better work! Healing Light!"(AN) Annie said as she hovered her hands not to far above his wound. "An, An, Annie, I, I, I, love you."(KNU) Knuckles said before closing his eye's his head falling back to the ground. "NO! THIS HAS TO WORK! PLEASE KNUCKLES! DON'T DIE!!!"(AN) Annie begged as a ray of light showed from her hands onto his wound. This was weakening her though, slowly his wound began to heal, but Annie wasn't lasting long in strength. "Hang on Knuckles, I'm doing this for, as, long, as it, takes..."(AN) Annie said getting real weak from using the spell for so long. By the time his wound finally closed, Annie was nearly faint. She passed out though as soon as it was done and she fell, her head on top of Knuckles chest. "Annie!?"(CRY) Crystal said as she and Eva rushed to Annie who had passed out completely. As both friends looked at each other they tried to wake both of them up. Silver suggested that they wait till morning, and in the meantime sleep. They knew Mephiles wouldn't attack them again, not tonight.

The next morning...

Knuckles awoke to the sun rising, he was lying down and as he looked down he saw Annie's head on his chest with her hand on him, right where his wound was. That was when he remembered last night, Annie must've somehow saved him, but was Annie alright. She looked comfortable lying her head on his chest, and he could tell she too was alive. He reached his hand and placed it on her head. "Annie."(KNU) Knuckles whispered. He liked her, a lot, and it was obvious she too liked him. He watched her breath in and out. Then she too woke up, as she looked at his face he was smiling. She then sat up, as he did too, then Annie lept onto him in a hug. He too hugged her back. "I thought I lost you."(AN) Annie told him with tears in her eye's. He stayed silent as they hugged each other. They finally noticed their friend's sleeping and getting up held hands as they walked away to somewhere private.

Later...

When Crystal and Eva finally woke up they panicked because both Annie and Knuckles were missing! Silver quickly awoke to the panic ridden girls who did not know where their friend were! "Quick! We have to look for them!"(EVA) Eva said as both she and Crystal split up, Silver went to follow Eva as she searched high and low for them. Silver was the one who actually found them. They were at a lake just looking into each others eye's. When Eva backtracked to find Silver watching them she cried out, "ANNIE!"(EVA) Both were startled as Eva ran down. Both looked down at the fact they were found, they were just thinking about doing something together. "Annie! Thank goodness! Your alright! And Knuckles too?"(EVA) "I'm fine Eva, thank you for asking."(KNU) Knuckles said a little frustrated at the fact they were discovered, he was hoping to have a lot more alone time with Annie before returning to her friends. He was still holding hands with her when she sensed his slight anger she looked at him, he calmed down when he sensed her uneasiness. "Eva! Did you find them?"(CRY) Crystal said trying to find both Annie and Eva. "Yeah!"(EVA) Eva said as Crystal and Eva reunited with Annie. "Hey guy's."(AN) Annie said to them. "Annie, what did you do last night to save Knuckles?"(SIL) Silver asked. Annie then said, "I used my healing spell in order to save Knuckles, it wore me down though, that's why I passed out."(AN) Knuckles looked at her then as she blushed. He smiled, "Well I'm glad you did that Annie. What would you do without me?"(KNU) "I don't know."(AN) Annie said as all five of them returned to camp in order to eat some breakfast, before continueing their travels.

A week later...

By now they had found the purple chaos emerald in an ancient ruin, and the green chaos emerald, which was in a jungle. Now all they needed were the remaining two chaos emeralds, Orange, and White. We find our hero's walking through a desert, still looking for the chaos emeralds. Mephiles has, for some reason, stopped his attacks on the five of them. Maybe possibly because of Annie's ability to heal the wounded. As they walk Annie and Knuckles walk ahead scanning the area with their ability to sense chaos emeralds. "So! Do you guy's feel anything yet?"(EVA) Eva asked as Silver followed her with her and his water bottle, that and an umbrella. Crystal kept close to everyone, As Eva and Silver caught up Annie asked. "Eva, did you ask for Silver to bring an umbrella?"(AN) "No, he does it because he cares for me Annie!"(EVA) Eva said smiling, Annie raised an eyebrow before shrugging her shoulders and going back to walk by Knuckles. Crystal though has not been feeling so happy and giddy as her friends were, what with them having boyfriends, and she, well... She shuddered at the thought of having Mephiles as a boyfriend. Shaking the idea once more she ran to catch up with her friends. Suddenly Annie and Knuckles sensed something. It was another chaos emerald! Both suddenly stopped, as they did whenever they sensed a chaos emerald was near, and looked around wildly before pinpointing the precise location. "Annie? Knuckles?"(EVA) "You found another one?"(CRY) Crystal said excited as both Annie and Knuckles turned to them and smiling, nodded. "Woo-hoo! Here we go again!"(CRY) Crystal said excited that they were about to find another chaos emerald. As Annie and Knuckles looked at each other, smiling, both ran in the direction of the chaos emerald. Once again it's location was underneath the earth. As they reached the spot on the sand both of them began to punch the ground, digging a large hole out of the ground. After some time they found it and coming out of the hole Annie presented her friends with the sixth chaos emerald. "Awesome!"(CRY) Crystal said taking the emerald and looking at it. "Come on guy's, let's get out of this heat first before we cheer."(EVA) Complained Eva. As everyone agreed, they all went back to the woods they were at previously before entering the desert. As soon as they were comfortable they talked. "Now we have six chaos emeralds guys."(CRY) Crystal said as they all looked down. "And we already know where the last one is."(AN) Annie stated as she looked around. Everyone agreed on that. "We all know what we must do then."(AN) Annie then said. "Personally I don't want to go back to Mephiles house."(CRY) "Neither do any of us Crystal, but if we must go home, then we must go there."(AN) "I just wish it wasn't Mephiles we had to face."(EVA) Eva said as Silver sat next to her. Knuckles sat next to Annie as well. Crystal sat on the other side of Silver. Suddenly Knuckles sensed something and got up. "Knuckles?"(AN) "Stay here."(KNU) Knuckles said leaping into a bush, suddenly you heard grunts as Knuckles dragged out a fox. A rather handsome fox who was orange, and obviously not a kid. As Knuckles dragged him to the group Crystal saw him and he avoided her eye's by looking away. "This guy has been following us for the past couple of day's, I noticed him when we went to the jungle."(KNU) "Yeah and stole my emerald!"(FOX) "Is that why we found it in a hut. We thought it was abandoned!"(EVA) Eva stated. "Yeah, well I was coming back from a hunt! a long hunt."(FOX) He said as Knuckles dropped him in front of everyone. "So then who are you?"(AN) Annie asked. "My name is Robinelicus! Robin, for short, the fox! So uh, can I have it back?"(ROB) "I'm afraid we need it for something."(CRY) Crystal said as she noticed he was avoiding looking at her. "And what do you need a pretty gem like that for?"(ROB) He said dashing a quick look at Crystal before looking away again. "Hey! Do you got a problem looking at us?"(SIL) Silver said as he began to notice it too. "It's not you I'm avoiding! It's uh, it's her."(ROB) He said shyly pointing a finger at Crystal. Crystal felt bad for him. "And what is wrong with Crystal?"(EVA) Eva said as Annie took notice of the way he looked at Crystal. She looked from Crystal to Robin, back to Crystal. "Nothing!"(ROBIN) Robin said dashing a dangerous look at Eva. Silver gave him a sharp eye, standing up. Annie recognized the situation and quickly rushed to stop a fight before it started. "Hey now! Let's all just calm down before something bad happens. Nighttime is coming so we need to make a fire. Let's all take a break and help gather firewood."(AN) She suggested. Everyone got up and left to gather wood, but Robin just sat there. Annie looked at Crystal with a smile. Crystal confused went to Annie. "Annie, what's with that guy? He seems like a jerk."(CRY) "Maybe, but then again maybe not, usually I'm oblivious to these things, but I think he may be taking a liking to you."(AN) Annie hinted, winking. Crystal turned back to look at him. She walked back. As he noticed her coming he quickly looked away. "You want to help Robin?"(CRY) Robin finally looked at Crystal and getting up went in the opposite direction to look for wood. When everyone was back Silver was still giving dangerous looks to Robin. Robin ignored as he dropped the wood into the pile and Annie with Knuckles helped start the fire. As soon as it was started Eva and Silver got out the food and they started to cook. Robin looked up sometimes to Crystal with a sad look, but once Crystal took noticed he quickly looked away. "Here, everyone eat up."(EVA) Eva said handing food to everyone, except Robin. Silver stopped her from handing food to him. "I don't think he should be with us, he's a jerk."(SIL) He said as Eva agreed. Annie handed food over to Crystal and told her to give it to him. He sat away from everyone, facing away. "Hey, you hungry?"(CRY) "Crystal!"(EVA) Annie stopped her. He looked over his shoulder at her friends, then Crystal. Reaching a hand back Crystal handed him the food and while sitting his back away from the fire began to eat. After that everyone headed to bed. Robin went away and slept by himself. Annie looked at Knuckles as they tried to sneak away again. Sometimes they'd come back a little stinky, as they passed Robin, thinking he was asleep, he said. "You two sneaking off to do your thing again?"(ROB) Annie and Knuckles stopped embarassed at being found out. "Don't worry, your dirty little secret is safe with me. I caught you doing it in my hut."(ROB) Both really stopped at that! "Go on."(ROB) He said trying to stay warm in his small brought blanket. Annie and Knuckles looked at each other then turning around headed back to camp. Both extremely embarassed now, to the point both were, well, very, very, bright red! They just slept next to each other, just not too close. Knuckles just kept looking at where Robin slept, still extremely embarassed at them being found out. Robin smiled a lot at telling those two what he caught them doing once.

The next morning...

Annie and Knuckles couldn't sleep that night, after being found out, they had to. But it wouldn't be the first time they went without sleep so the two acted like normal as they packed up and turned around. They had to head back to the city, where Mephiles held the final chaos emerald needed for Annie, Crystal, and Eva to get home. As the team of now six continued on, with Annie and Knuckles, Eva and Silver, and Crystal stayed well ahead of Robin, who on purpose was lagging behind. Annie slowed down to Crystal and told her to go walk with Robin then ran to catch up with Knuckles. Crystal rolled her eye's and slowed down to Robin. "Hey."(CRY) Robin looked at her, then back at the road. "Hey."(ROB) He said. Silence followed until Robin finally asked. "So, uh, why do you need these emeralds again?"(ROB) "We, Me, Annie, and Eva, need them in order to get back home."(CRY) "And just where is your home?"(ROB) "In another dimension, you see we, we're not a fox, hedgehog, or echidna, we're really humans."(CRY) "No joke?"(ROB) He said shockingly taking this well. "Yeah, no joke. You believe us?"(CRY) "Why not? you three seem honest, though I don't think that Silver guy likes me all that much."(ROB) "Oh don't mind him, he is protective of Eva."(CRY) "Yeah, I can see that."(ROB) Robin said as he went over a log, which Crystal wasn't paying attention to and tripped over. Robin looked ahead at her friends walking on, they hadn't noticed her trip. He looked down at her and then sighing helped her up. "You alright?"(ROB) "Yeah, I'm okay..."(CRY) "Yeah, let's keep going then."(ROB) Robin said interrupting Crystal and walking on. Crystal getting mad ran up to him and said. "What's your problem!?"(CRY) "What do you mean, what's my problem?"(ROB) "You act, you acting like a total jerk."(CRY) "Well sorry but I wasn't raised in a happy-go-lucky family like you and your friends apparently had!"(ROB) Crystal paused. After a while Robin stopped and looking back said. "Hey! You comin? I don't think your friends want to leave you behind."(ROB) "Uh right!"(CRY) Crystal said catching up to walk by him. Even more silence. Crystal then spoke. "So Robin, what was your family like?"(CRY) "Completely idiotic, stupid beyond belief, and ignorant people!!!"(ROB) He said with a lot of anger. Crystal then thought about her brother and how big of a jerk he was. "I know how you feel, I had a brother who was a jerk to me too."(CRY) "Yeah well, be grateful that you only had one jerk in your family."(ROB) He said quickening his pace. Crystal being oblivious to his problem with the topic of his parents, caught up and began to talk once more. "What did they do to you?"(CRY) "They abandoned me, left me on the street with nothing but my very bones. No one raised a finger or ever gave me a hug and tell me they love me!!! I had to learn to fend for myself. Most of the time I am unlucky, but every once in a while I'll hit a jackpot. It's not easy living on your own, but I had no choice. They just, drove me to the city dropped me off at a local store, then left me behind, laughing their heads off."(ROB) "Do you love them?"(CRY) "NO! I don't love them! I hate them! Each and every one of them! If I had known what they were to do with me I'd, I'd!!!"(ROB) Robin said before turning and punching a nearby tree! Everyone stopped and turned around to stare at Robin who was now extremely mad. Knuckles and Silver then rushed to get in front of Annie and Eva, in order to protect them from harm. Robin simply looked at everyone with anger in his eye's then said. "I'm sorry, but I need time to myself. Please, continue your trip."(ROB) With that Robin left to be alone, and the remaining five started to walk again. Eva then told Silver that she was going to talk to Crystal. "Hey Crystal, why'd Robin get mad?"(EVA) "I don't know, we were just talking about his family, that was all."(CRY) "Crystal maybe he doesn't like talking about his family."(EVA) "Hey guy's, Crystal, why did Robin get mad?"(AN) "We were talking aobut his family when he hit the tree, said something like 'if I knew what they were to do with me I'd, something, something'."(CRY) Crystal said. "Maybe Robin doesn't like to be reminded of his past Crystal."(AN) "Yeah Eva just told me."(CRY) Crystal said looking back to try and see Robin. She felt bad for him, to a point. When Robin did re-unite with the crew he was calmed down completely. "Hey guy's."(ROB) He said as they were about to stop again for the night. They were very far from the city. You'd think with as big as the city was it would've been easy to reach. Annie and Knuckles now saw no reason to be ahead of the group, now that they were heading back to the city, knowing where the last chaos emerald was. So the two stayed back allowing Eva and Silver to lead the way. When Robin was alone though Annie and Knuckles had to make sure he wasn't going to tell anyone. "I told you two last night, I wasn't going to tell anyone, so just drop it!"(ROB) He said avoiding the vile thoughts. "Just do me a favor Robin, don't do it with Crystal, or I'll swear me and Eva WILL come and kill you!!!"(AN) "Don't worry, that is the last thing on my mind."(ROB) Robin said walking ahead as Annie and Knuckles stopped, giving each other smiles. Then they continued to walk on.

Later...

As nightime once again came around the group had to once again stop and get ready for bed. Once again Robin ate away from everyone. As he ate Silver asked why we were bringing him along. "What's the point of having him around?"(SIL) Annie didn't know what to say to that. "Yeah! He's a jerk!"(EVA) "Now let's not judge him for the way he acts, but on his real self."(AN) Annie said showing some wisdom. "Whatever Annie, I just don't like him."(EVA) Eva said as everyone looked at Robin who had his back to the group eating. He knew that they were talking about him. He even knew that they were looking at him at that moment. What was he doing following this group. That puzzled everyone. As everyone fell asleep a jealous shadow floated above them, and on a nearby rocky hill a dangerous shadow appeared rising out of the ground in his crystal version. He looked enviously at the new member of the crew, Robin. What did Robin have that Mephiles didn't? He decided that he would soon put a stop to it, so turning around he left in his black cloud.

Yet the next morning...

Out of all the group Annie was the last to get up for some reason, when she did she announced something. "Guy's, something is about to happen, to Robin."(AN) She declared. Knuckles and Silver weren't interested, neither was Robin, however, Eva and Crystal knew that when Annie had a dream like that, it usually came true! Just like what was about to happen to them before they drank the water and changed into Sonic characters. "Annie what was it about?"(CRY) Crystal asked, "I'm not sure, but it did feature something happening to Robin!"(AN) Annie said warning her friends. "Why should we care? It's just a dream isn't it?"(ROB) "Don't be like that Annie sometimes has dreams that tell her of the nearing future. So Annie what happened to Robin in the dream?"(CRY) "I'm not sure, all I know is that it involves Mephiles somehow."(AN) "And just who is Mephiles again?"(ROB) "The guy who wants Crystal for a girlfriend!"(EVA) Eva told him harshly. "Okay then, did not need the duh point."(ROB) Said Robin without sarcasm to Eva. "Hey! You watch what you say around Eva okay!"(SIL) "Relax, I'm not after your girl."(ROB) Robin stated moving his eye's on Silver without turning his head, then looking foreward again. Silver and Eva stopped and looked at each other. "So who ARE you after?"(EVA) "I don't see a reason to tell you two."(ROB) Robin said getting ahead.

Later in the day...

Crystal once again tries to talk to Robin as they move along. "So Robin, what do you do for a living?"(CRY) "Hunt. It's the only way to survive here in this world."(ROB) Annie then remembered a very valuable part of her dream. "Girls, there is one more thing you ought to know about my dream, I think Mephiles was lying about us not being able to turn back."(AN) "What!?"(CRY & EVA) Both said at once. The other guys turned to stare. "You mean, we'll be able to turn back?"(EVA) Eva said excited. "Yeah, I think so."(AN) Annie said not telling her friends about one more important key to the dream, her child. Annie thought it best not to inform them of that, anyway's she wasn't sure about it. She could not inform her girlfriends of what she did. She knew they'd be extremely mad at her for it. So they walked on in silence, when they finally reached the jungle Robin stopped the crew for a moment. "I need to check my hut real fast."(ROB) He said rushing off to his hut and as they waited Annie kept giving off an odd vib to Knuckles. He was noticing it and took her aside to talk. "Annie, what's wrong?"(KNU) Annie looked down. "I don't know, don't know how to tell you."(AN) "Tell me? Tell me what? Please Annie tell me, what's wrong?"(KNU) "Knuckles, we did something bad and I think there, is, a consequence that will happen as a result."(AN) "You mean when we?"(KNU) "Yeah, that thing."(AN) "Annie what are you trying to tell me?"(KNU) Annie took a deep breath and looked into Knuckles purple eye's. "Knuckles, do you love me? Really love me?"(AN) "Yes, yes I do Annie."(KNU) "Knuckles, I think I'm, I'm,"(AN) Annie breathed out. "I think I'm pregnant."(AN) Knuckles had a shocked look on his face. "Oh my gosh! Are you serious!?"(KNU) Annie looked down and nodded, some tears in her eye's. "But it's not official yet. It happened in my dream, so I'm not sure if it's for real."(AN) She said as Knuckles raised her head to look in his eye's. "Annie, is this good news to you, or bad?"(KNU) "Actually, to me, it's wonderful news, I'm just ashamed that I did it without marriage."(AN) "Without marriage?"(KNU) "It's part of what I believe in. I'm a christian back home, it's a religion."(AN) Annie said once again looking down. "Annie, I'm happy too."(KNU) Now it was Annie's turn to look at him in shock. "Really!?"(AN) She said. He nodded and Annie then lept onto him with a hug. "Annie! Annie where are you!?"(EVA) Eva said as Annie quickly looked at Knuckles. "Knuckles, we can't tell anyone about this! Not yet anyway's."(AN) Knuckles then winked at her telling her it was their little secret. They'll find out once they reached the city. When Robin returned the group went on.

A few day's later...

as the crew finally reached the city Annie and Knuckles suggested they take one night of a break while they were there, then Annie and Knuckles went to the store to get something. When they returned both had a pleased look on their faces and were holding hands in front of everyone. They usually hid that. That was when Eva and Crystal began to suspect something was up. But they ignored it as they turned into the hotel and went to sleep once more in comfy beds.

The next day...

As the crew prepared for meeting Mephiles at his house Robin prepared his weapons when Crystal came in. When Robin noticed he motioned for her to come to him and handed her a knife. "Your going to need a weapon. If this guy likes you, he'll do anything to get a grasp of you, in which case you use this knife and attack him with it."(ROB) Crystal looked at her weapon, and then back to Robin who was grabbing his own knife and tucking it away. "Thanks, Robin. Thanks for everything."(CRY) Crystal said trying to give him a hug. He accepted it, but wanted it brief so he took her hands and looked over his shoulder at her. "Thank you, Crystal."(ROB) He said when he noticed the others looking at them. "Well, uh, thank you again Crystal, but we'd better get going."(ROB) He said getting up and walking off.

With that the group set off to Mephiles house. As they neared it Crystal began to lag behind to Robin who put his arm around her. "Here we are guys."(AN) Annie said as she stood there with Knuckles, Eva, Silver, Crystal, and Robin. They stood there side by side looking at the scary house. "Let's do this then!"(EVA) Eva said boldly walking toward the house, with Silver right beside her. Annie and Knuckles followed closely. The last to follow was Crystal and Robin. Reaching the door Annie and Knuckles were about to break the door down when Knuckles stopped Annie from doing it. He looked at Annie and she read his looks and stopped. "Why aren't you doing it Annie?"(EVA) "Well I uh,"(AN) She said trying to figure out what to say. "What she means is, it's best if I do it instead of just me and her."(KNU) Knuckles said reading Annie's pleading eye's. "Okay then, everyone out of the way!"(KNU) Knuckles said as he ran to break the door down. But just as he got there the door opened and Knuckles fell right through it! "Knuckles! You alright?"(AN) Annie said rushing to him. "I'm fine!"(KNU) He said getting up. "Well! Come on you two!"(ROB) Robin said as he with Crystal, Eva and Silver, rushed in. Annie and Knuckles soon followed. They stayed in a tight group as they walked around the mansions front. They soon saw the door that Annie and Eva busted through before along with the door of where she came from. "Now Crystal, where do you think he holds the emerald at?"(EVA) "I don't know."(CRY) Then she thought back. "Maybe a good place to start is the garden I found."(CRY) "Great idea Crystal! Just, where is this garden?"(AN) Crystal pointed to the door that led to the long hallway. As our heroes entered they could see no other end to the hallway. "Come on Crystal, you have to lead the way!"(ROB) Robin encouraged Crystal. She didn't like the idea of being ahead in this situation. "Don't worry, I'm here."(ROB) Robin said standing next to Crystal the whole time. Finally they reached an open door that luckily led to a garden. It wasn't very big but as they entered the door closed behind them! Robin went to check and found the door was locked. "Grand! Now we're stuck!"(ROB) Robin said turning around to look at everyone. "Everyone! Search for an exit!"(EVA) Eva said as everyone looked around for one. Then Robin found something. "Guy's!"(ROB) He said as everyone rushed to him. When they reached him they asked what was wrong, he pointed at the emerald. It stood on a pedestal. "No, something isn't right. It seems too... Obvious."(AN) Annie stated. "Ah, you girls worry too much! I'll get it!"(ROB) Robin said going towards it. "Wait!"(CRY) Crystal said as Robin touched it, suddenly a spear-like ray spiked him! As he fell another pierced him and another! Everyone looked at him shocked as he fell to the ground. Crystal rushed foreward to him. Picking up his head he said. "I told you, I was unlucky."(ROB) He then passed out. Someone laughs. Everyone looked around when a black smoke appeared, Crystal seeing the smoke grabbed Robin and tried to drag him back to the team before Mephiles got to her. But she was too late as Mephiles got between her and her friends. "Mephiles!"(CRY) Crystal cried out as the others attempted to attack him. He then shot a warning spear at them. "We meet again Crystal."(MEP) He said as a row of spears blocked the others from reaching Crystal and Robin. "Crystal!!!"(AN) "Hang on Crystal! We're coming!"(EVA) Eva and Annie cried out trying to get past the row of spears. "So, you thought that you could dump me so easily? Now see the result of your betrayal."(MEP) He said as Crystal looked at the unconcious and dying Robin. "Annie! Quick use your teleport to get us in there!"(EVA) Eva said as an idea came to mind. "Fine then! Everyone grab me! NOW!!!"(AN) Annie said as everyone grabbed Annie. "Everyone ready!? Here goes! TELEPORT!!!"(AN) Annie said as all of them vanished and reappeared in front of Crystal. But as she did this she became incredibly weak, and fell backwards into Knuckles arms. "So you think you can challenge me!? You were supposed to die back there Knuckles!"(MEP) Mephiles said as Annie regained her strength and went with Eva to Robin's nearly dead body and Crystal. "Annie! Use your healing spell!"(CRY) Crystal begged. "I'll give it all I've got."(AN) Annie said as she hovered her hands over Robin's most harmful wound and said "Healing Light."(AN) Now Annie's healing spell was far more stronger, but as she moved from wound to wound it proved to not be enough. As the guy's fought Mephiles, Annie continued to use her spell. But when Knuckles looked back he saw her nearly pass out! "Silver! Keep fighting!"(KNU) He said rushing to stop Annie from using her powers any further. When he got there he put his hand on her shoulder and said for her to stop. She, being extremely weak, stopped and lied down for a bit. Then he rejoined the fight with Mephiles. As the fight drew on, all three girls tended to Robin who was still unconcious. Then just as Annie paid attention once more to the fight, she saw something terrible happen, Mephiles threw more spears at Knuckles and Silver!!! That was when Eva looked and saw Silver get hit, along with Knuckles! "SILVER!!!"(EVA) "KNUCKLES!!!"(AN) Both cried out. Then the three girls looked at each other and reading each other's minds stood up against Mephiles and went into the fight! Crystal with her weapon, Annie with her powers, and Eva with her chaos control abilities. As they ran in and Mephiles took notice Annie quickly swished her arms yelling. "Heaven's Light!"(AN) Blinded Eva went in and used Chaos Control to blast him away, then Crystal threw her knife at him. It hit him! But no blood came out! As he got up he laughed at the three. "Well I have to admit, you three are a bigger pain than I had anticipated. You three, pathetic, useless humans have turned into thorns in my side. You have lived and passed all my experiments and tests, something that seemed utterly impossible for goody-goody-girls to ever accomplish! Yet here you are! You've discovered abilities, overcome weather and storms, and might I say I am impressed with how close a bond you three share with yourselves, and these even more unfortunate souls. Too bad they will all die soon. Along with you three!"(MEP) Mephiles said as he threw a spear at the three girls. Annie raised her hands in front of her and said. "Barrier!"(AN) The spears did no penetrate the purple shield in front of her, protecting her and her friends from harm. "WHAT THE!?"(MEP) Said Mephiles as Annie said. "Now Eva!"(AN) Eva ran in front of her to throw a chaos spear at Mephiles. "UGH!"(MEP) He said as he actually felt that. "That was for Silver!"(EVA) Eva said as Crystal found the knife and threw it at him. "This is for Robin!"(CRY) Then Annie came in last and said "Heaven's Light!"(AN) "And this is for Knuckles!"(AN) Then all three stopped, Mephiles stood there, eye's fading, life draining. Finally he falls to the ground, defeated, at last. As he laid there dying Eva went up to him and grabbing him said. "Where is the antidote!?"(EVA) He began to laugh once more. "It's in my laboratory. Good luck in finding it!"(MEP) He said laughing to his death.

As the team looked at him they realized that Silver and Knuckles are still in trouble, so Annie and Eva rushed to their sides. Annie used her healing light on him, then went over to Silver and healed him too. After which when Annie stood up she fell over backwards, once again into Knuckles arms. Knuckles decided then that Annie and Robin needed rest. Robin, despite being healed, was still unconcious. And for a while remained that way. When he did awake his head was on Crystal's lap. When he opened his eye's he saw he was looking right at Crystal. In her beautiful white fox fur. When she looked down at him a big smile appeared on her face! "Guy's! Guy's! He's awake! He's finally awake!"(CRY) She yelled out to the others. As everyone came around to see him he said. "I thought I was dead. What happened? Who saved my life?"(ROB) "That would be me Robin."(AN) Annie said to him. Sitting up Robin looked around. "So where is the chaos emerald."(ROB) Everyone turned to look and saw that the white chaos emerald was still there. Knuckles then reached out and grabbed it. As everyone observed the emerald, Annie began to look down. She knows that soon it will be decision time in order to choose whether to stay here, or go back home. When Knuckles busted the door open they exited the room. "So, anyone have a clue as to where this laboratory is?"(ROB) Robin said after he was informed of what had happened. Fact was, no one had a clue as to where to first look. With Mephiles dead, it was now safe to seperate and search the place. So Annie went with Knuckles to the east side, Eva and Silver to the west side, finally Crystal and Robin searched the back of it. As Crystal and Robin searched Robin talked to Crystal. "Hey Crystal."(ROB) "Yeah?(CRY) "Uh, thanks."(ROB) "For what?"(CRY) "For uh, being there for me."(ROB) "No problem."(CRY) "You know, you are pretty cool, for a goody-goody fox slash human."(ROB) Robin said as he and Crystal continued. They searched high and low for the laboratory, and couldn't find it. As the team regrouped at the front they wondered where the lab was. "I'm starting to think there isn't one."(CRY) Crystal said. "But Annie's dream!"(EVA) "Don't worry Eva, we'll find it somewhere."(AN) Annie assured her. As nighttime fell all six had to stop for the night and once out they went to the hotel to rest.

The next morning...

When morning arose the team went back out to search for it again. As they were about to give up Annie looked out the back window at a strange little cottage nearby. "Guy's, where is the back door?"(AN) Annie said as one by one everyone said they didn't know. "Why Annie?"(EVA) "Because I think I might have found it!"(AN) She said as she looked around and found there were no doors leading to this unusual spot in the back of the mansion. "He must have used his ghost-like abilities to get to it."(KNU) Knuckles said looking through the window like everyone else was. The window was way too small for anyone to fit through. "Then that's it, we'll use my t-move in order to get in there."(AN) "Annie you sure you can handle all of us? Without passing out?"(KNU) Annie looked at him with a reasuring face saying yes. As everyone grabbed onto Annie she used her teleport move and got them in front of the cottage. As Eva opened the door they found it to be anything but a cottage. Inside they found laboratory equipment such as vials, test tubes, microscopes, and many other things. As they looked around they saw that on a wall were the ingredients to his 'special' water that changed Annie, Crystal, and Eva. "We need to destroy this place!"(ROB) "Not before we find the antidote!"(EVA) Eva said harshly to Robin. Annie then found some sort of little capsule labeled "Dimensional Portal." "This is how he's been getting to and from our realm."(AN) She whispered to herself. Then taking the item hid it. She planned on telling her friends the truth when the moment was right. "FOUND IT!!!"(CRY) Crystal said as she found a room full of the antidote! "Here it is guy's!"(AN) Annie said as she came in last to see all the antidotes. Quickly Eva and Crystal grabbed some and the group left the building. Robin was about to set the place aflame when Annie stopped him. "Maybe we should wait on destroying this place, let's get out first."(AN) She said and once they were out Eva told Robin. "Yeah! How about me, Annie, and Crystal take a drink of the antidote."(EVA) Said Eva as she opened one vial, Crystal the next, but Annie didn't. The others looked at her. "Annie?"(EVA) "Annie? What's wrong."(CRY) Annie looked down. "Girls, I can't drink this."(AN) "Why not? Do you think it's poison?"(EVA) "No! It's just that."(AN) Annie said as she looked down at her stomache. The others didn't follow or see her really looking at her belly. "Annie? What's the matter?"(EVA) "Eva, Crystal, both of you are going to be real mad at me for this."(AN) Annie said as she dropped the vial in front of them. Eva crossed her arms and became serious. Annie looked up at them then said. "I, me and Knuckles, did something bad, together."(AN) Eva was starting to see something in this. "But. I... I."(AN) she said as she placed her hand on her belly. Eva's eye's went wide. "Annie! You didn't!!"(EVA) Annie looked up at her nodding yes. Crystal then got the picture. "OH MY GOSH!!! ANNIE! YOU DIDN'T REALLY!!!"(CRY) Annie once again looked down at her stomache and said. "Yes, I did."(AN) "Annie!!! Tell us you are joking! TELL US YOU ARE JOKING!!!"(EVA) Eva said getting mad. She reached out for Annie when Silver stopped her. "Annie! Tell us the truth!"(CRY) Crystal said. Annie then looked at her friends bravely and said. "I, I am pregnant."(AN) When Annie said that her friends, all except for Knuckles who already knew, looked at her with such shock. Annie didn't back down until she felt everyone elses eye's on her. She then backed down and turning around fled. "Annie!"(KNU) Knuckles said as she ran past him with tears. Eva and Crystal stood there shocked by what Annie had just said. As Knuckles, Silver, and Robin looked at the two girls Knuckles said. "She's been meaning to tell you two for a while now."(KNU) "How long has she been pregnant?"(CRY) Crystal asked as Eva gave Knuckles a deadly look. "We found out only a few day's ago."(KNU) "Knuckles! I have a bone to pick with you!"(EVA) Eva said walking toward Knuckles. Knuckles backed off, Eva was about to explode with anger onto Knuckles for doing this. "Hey now, wait a second! Hold on there Eva!"(KNU) He said backing off even further as Eva neared him. He wasn't sure whether to run, or face Eva. When she reached him she punched him five times in the arm. "That was for what you did to Annie!!!"(EVA) Silver then stopped her from doing any more damage, as he dragged Eva away Knuckles rubbed his right arm. "Ouch, that really hurt."(KNU) He said to Robin as Silver walked and took the vial Annie dropped, a thought had entered his mind.

Three hours later...

By now our heroines Crystal and Eva are worried about Annie so they asked their boyfriends, along with Knuckles, to go search for her. When Knuckles found her it was in the most unlikeliest of places. She was in a clean underground tunnel which had water in it. As she sat by the edge Knuckles approached, she sensed him coming. "What have I done Knuckles?"(AN) She asked, mainly to herself. Knuckles silently came by and sat next to her. Annie was continually looking at the water. "Annie?"(KNU) "What have I done to myself? I can't believe myself. What was I thinking!?"(AN) Annie said grabbing a nearby rock and tossing it at the underground river. Then she noticed her hand and bringing both to her face she stared at them. "I can't believe what I had done, I mean, I've alway's had a secret desire to do things like this, but I never knew how hard it was going to be to face my friends like this."(AN) She said touching her face with her hands, all the way to her snout. Annie continued to stare as tears began to well up in her eye's then she brought her knees up, wrapped her arms around them, then cried. Knuckles looked down and for a while as Annie sobbed. When she stopped she looked back at the water then down at her stomache. Once again she laid her hand on her belly, where she now knew that a baby of her own was in. She then went back to staring at her hands, then at the gloves. Knuckles gently took hold of one of them and taking off the glove looked at her bare hand. "You know Annie, you could go back and change all of this."(KNU) "What do you mean?"(AN) "I mean go back to being human, and go home."(KNU) "And risk our childs life in the process? Absolutely not!"(AN) Annie said as she looked again at the water. "Annie, you have to face your friends."(KNU) "I know that, it's just how can I do it? I feel ashamed, yet somehow proud, of what we did, together."(AN) Annie said raising her head and turned to look at him. "Annie, I'm sorry."(KNU) "No, don't be, this is all my doing, I wanted to do it, and now I'll pay the price."(AN) "Annie why don't you come back?"(KNU) "Because, because I don't know how to face my friends right at this moment."(AN) Annie said as Knuckles put back on the glove. He then took Annie's hand and got up with her. "Annie, I've seen you be braver than this."(KNU) "Yes, well, you know what they say, it's hard to stand up to people, but even harder to stand up to a friend."(AN) Annie said as Knuckles tried to walk her out. But she stopped. Knuckles looked at her, with her head down in defeat. "I'm sorry Knuckles, but this is going to be very different from now on."(AN) She admitted looking up at Knuckles, straight into his eye's. Knuckles then walked to Annie and laid his hand on her stomache saying. "Annie, it doesn't matter, not anymore. Now come on, your friends are worried about you."(KNU) Knuckles said as he led the way holding Annie's hand till they got outside. It was still broad daylight, but not for much longer. Annie and Knuckles then went on a walk, where he comforted her at the park. After all of this, everyone had changed, quite a bit. All three of them had boyfriends now, and the guy's learned things from the girls. When Knuckles re-united Annie to Crystal and Eva both were excited to see Annie and gave her hugs. "Annie! We were worried when you didn't return."(CRY) "I'm sorry girls, but I don't know how to face you."(AN) Annie said about to run again, when Eva gently grabbed her hand. "Annie, it's alright, we forgive you."(EVA) Eva said as Annie turned her head back to them. "Eva, Crystal, my two best friends in the world!"(AN) Annie said going back and hugging her two dearest friends. As the three hugged Eva said. "At least we are together."(EVA) "Let's go find that holy temple now!"(CRY) Crystal said as the three broke. As Crystal and Eva moved on Annie stopped them. "Girls, there is one more thing I haven't told you."(AN) Both girls turned to Annie. Annie then took out the big capsule and presented them with it. "What is it?"(EVA) Eva said as Crystal reached and took it. "Oh my gosh! Is this a dimensional portal?"(CRY) Crystal said as she read the print on it. "Yes, I think this is how he's been getting to our world and back."(AN) Annie said as both her friends looked at her. "Annie, thanks! Now we can all go home, together."(EVA) Eva said as Crystal asked how it worked. "I'm not sure on that Eva. Here Crystal let me help."(AN) Annie said as Eva grabbed her. "Annie, what are you saying now."(EVA) "Wait a second, hold that thought. Crystal, Nayu know's how to open it. Hand it to me."(AN) She replied going to Crystal. As she put it into her hand Annie let Nayu take control and she put it on the ground and motioned for the others to back off. "Portal, open. Dimension Realm Reality, planet Earth."(N) Nayu said as Knuckles saw an entirely different version of Annie take over. Once the portal shook and opened it revealed a large vertical oval. As they all looked through it Crystal, Annie, and Eva, all saw their home world! "Home!"(CRY) "We did it! We did it guy's! We're going home! Come on let's drink and then go!"(EVA) Eva said. "And so we come to the end of the road."(AN) Annie said as the others turned to look at her. "Come again Annie?"(EVA) "We've come to the end of this story girls. Sadly, I'm not going home with you girls."(AN) Annie said smiling while looking down. "But Annie, what about our families?"(EVA) "We won't go home without you!"(CRY) "I'm sorry girls, but I have sealed my fate. I have to stay."(AN) She said raising her head with a smile at them. "But."(CRY) "No but's, you girls change back and go home, just promise me you'll visit the sonic world."(AN) "Annie, we aren't leaving without you!"(EVA) "Yeah, three of us came to this world, so three of us have to go!"(CRY) "Then I'll come."(SIL) Said Silver as he came foreward. "I'll come with you then Eva."(SIL) He said as he went to her and took her hands. "Silver. But you're not human."(EVA) "It doesn't matter, I brought this along."(SIL) He said taking out a blue vial. "Let's be human, together."(SIL) Silver said as he opened the lid and took a drink. Then Eva took out her's and took a drink. As the others watched Eva and Silver turned human. Silver had long white hair, wore a white shirt with blue pants, his eye's were beautifully blue. As Eva changed back with her short brown hair and brown eye's, she still wore her pink skirt and pink shirt. Both transformed holding hands facing each other. Eva then took out her glasses and looked at Silver. He was incredibly handsome. Then he reached down and kissed her on the lips. Annie had tears in her eye's as she saw the love those two shared. Then Crystal took out her vial and was about to drink it, until she noticed Robin on the side looking down at the ground. She stopped and went to him. He then looked at her. "What?"(ROB) Robin asked. "Do you want to come along?"(CRY) "Crystal, I think both of us know that it won't work out."(ROB) He said as Crystal hearing this looked away at her friends. Suddenly Robin grabbed her face and kissed her in front of everyone. Then stopping said. "I wish I had more time though. But you're human, and I'm, I'm not. Goodbye Crystal."(ROB) He said turning and walking off. "Robin!"(CRY) Crystal yelled, as he turned to her, with a sad look on his face. She gave him a thumbs up saying. "Thank's anyway's!"(CRY) "I'm sure someone better than me will come along."(ROB) He said turning to leave. "I'll never forget you though!"(CRY) Crystal said as she went to Eva and Silver and drank turning back to human. As everyone turned to Annie and Knuckles who remained. "Goodbye Annie!"(CRY) "Yeah, take good care of yourself, and Knuckles! You'd better marry Annie before she gives birth! OR ELSE!"(EVA) Eva said as both she and Crystal had to bend down a little to give Annie a hug. "Guy's I'll miss you! I'll make sure to send wedding invitations before I marry!"(AN) Annie told them as they backed off and turned to walk toward the portal. As Silver passed through it, Eva and Crystal stopped and looked one more time to Annie. Then Crystal went through, finally Eva went through and Annie said. "Portal close."(AN) After that the portal went back to being a capsule. Annie went up to it and looked down at it. "Take good care of yourselves girls."(AN) She said as Knuckles went up to her and looked at her. "Well, I guess that is the end of this story."(AN) Annie said. "But it's the beginning of another."(KNU) "You've got that right Knuckles."(AN) She said as she took the portal device and walked away with Knuckles.

As both girls looked Eva and Annie suddenly felt their friend in trouble! Both rejoined each other and then they ran down the road, both suddenly sure of where their friend was being taken. "Annie!"(EVA) "Eva!"(AN) "Crystal!"(AN & EVA) Both said as they followed their hunch. Both boyfriends not to far behind. Eva ran faster than Annie as they could feel their friend was nearby, somewhere. They finally came across a house, it was dark, spooky, and looked dangerous. "Eva wait! STOP!"(SIL) Silver said. "Is this where!?"(EVA) Eva said as Annie soon joined up. "Eva! I think Crystal is in there! Come on!"(AN) Annie said trying to run past when Knuckles grabbed her arm. "What!? What's wrong Knuckles?"(AN) Eva didn't even wait, Crystal needed them, bad! So she ran on toward the house. "Annie! It's too dangerous! You don't know how powerful he is! Quick! Stop Eva before she get's hurt!"(KNU) Annie quickly turned to her friend still running to the house, Silver is trying to catch up to her to stop her. "EVA!"(AN) Annie said as she got free and ran as fast as she could to Eva. "EVA! WAIT!!!"(AN) Annie continued to yell. "COME ON ANNIE! Crystal is around here! I know it!"(EVA) Eva yelled as Silver finally caught up and grabbed her. Annie then caught up. "Eva! It's too dangerous!"(SIL) "NO! We have to try!"(EVA) Annie stopped, Eva was right! they had to try, here, soon, no not soon NOW! "Guy's, I'm sorry!"(AN) Annie said running past as Knuckles tried to catch up with her, as she ran past Eva she grabbed her arm freeing her from Silver's grasp. Both girls ran to the house and the guys were too late as they bursted through the side door, where they had felt Crystal's presence and as they neared heard her cry for help.

Crystal began to give up hope when suddenly, Annie and Eva bursted through the door! "EVA! ANNIE!"(CRY) Crystal said happy to see her friends. "NO! You weren't suppose to find this place!"(MEP) Mephiles said as Annie and Eva embraced Crystal and all three turned to Mephiles who was obviously angry at them. "You three are starting to become a pain! If you won't join me Crystal, then maybe it's time for you and your two friends to die!"(MEP) He said conjuring a deathly orb to obliterate Annie, Crystal, and Eva! "OVER OUR DEAD BODIES!!!"(SIL) Yelled Silver as he and Knuckles attacked Mephiles. "GIRLS GET OUT OF HERE!!!"(KNU) Knuckles commanded. Annie then motioned for Eva and Crystal to run with her. But as Crystal left Annie and Eva stayed to watch their boyfriends fight Mephiles. Crystal then came back, grabbed her friends, and dragged them out of the building. Knuckles and Silver were both battling hard, Knuckles punching while Silver used his psychic powers to attack Mephiles.

Later...

After waiting for two hours the girls finally saw Knuckles and Silver, both worn down, walking weakly toward them in the park. "Knuckles!"(AN) "Silver!"(EVA) Both girls ran to them to help them walk to where they had stopped in the park, It was twilight and everything was starting to go dark. Crystal had a fire going as Eva and Annie walked Knuckles and Silver to it. "Please sit you need rest."(AN) Annie said helping Knuckles sit while Eva did the same for Silver. There was silence as Crystal handed Annie and Eva some food to give to the guy's. Finally Silver spoke. "Why aren't you at the hotel?"(SIL) "We decided to wait for you here, besides Annie, Crystal, and I will be sleeping outdoors here soon anyway's."(EVA) Eva explained. Knuckles kept quiete and Annie feared he, and Silver, were mad at her and Eva for going in there. "Listen, I'm sorry me and Eva went in there like that, but..."(AN) Annie began as Knuckles raised his hand to silence her. "It's too late to talk about that, though we are mad, we have to say that Mephiles got away we don't know where he went all we know is that he'll be back, and next time listen to us!"(KNU) Knuckles said showing a little anger. Annie looked down respectfully. As she looked back up he was looking at her, his eye's still mad at her. "So Crystal, what happened while you were there?"(EVA) Eva asked Crystal. "Mephiles is behind all of this."(CRY) "What? What do you mean Crystal?"(EVA) Eva asked as Annie took notice and looked hard at Crystal. "Mephiles, he, he was behind everything! He was the one who chose us for that stupid fake movie of Sonic the Hedgehog! He was behind the water, and the trip here! He did all of this!"(CRY) Crystal exclaimed. This caught everyone's attention. "WHAT!!!? Seriously!"(EVA) Eva bursted, Annie motioned for her to calm down. "Yes, and there is no way back to being human."(CRY) Crystal said looking at her gloved hands. As did Annie and Eva. "So you mean, we can't go back home even?"(AN) "I Don't know, he didn't say anything on that, only that he has the last chaos emerald, it's hidden somewhere in that place he was holding me at."(CRY) "Meaning we're going to have to go back to find that last emerald."(AN) Annie said as she, Crystal, and Eva looked in the direction the house was at. Both guy's got up and in the way of their view. "OH NO you three don't!"(SIL) "Don't worry, we won't go back until we need the last emerald."(AN) "What's the point."(CRY) Crystal said suddenly sad. Both Annie and Eva turned to her. "What do you mean what's the point?"(AN) "Crystal, don't you want to go home?"(EVA) "I don't know."(CRY) Crystal said looking down, tears in her eye's. Annie and Eva looked at each other then went to comfort Crystal. "Crystal what's wrong?"(EVA) "I don't know!"(CRY) She said getting up and walking a few steps away, pacing. Eva was suddenly showing signs of anger. Annie turned to her for a question on Crystal when she saw her anger start to rise. She took out a chaos emerald and held it in her fist. "That Mephiles! When I get the chance! I'm gonna!"(EVA) She started when she suddenly started to glow. Knuckles recognized it first, then Silver. Annie reached out to touch Eva when Knuckles noticed she was about to explode in anger! Knuckles quickly ran to Annie as Silver ran to Crystal to move both of them out of the way when suddenly..... BOOM!!! Eva had used Chaos Blast! "What the?"(CRY) Crystal said suddenly confused. "Eva?"(AN) Annie said as the blast expanded only a little distance. When Eva looked up she saw that she had wiped out the scenery. As it was now dark, Annie and Crystal went back to where Eva was. "Eva!?"(CRY) Crystal asked as they reached her. "What did she just do?"(AN) Annie asked Knuckles. "A Chaos Blast!"(KNU) "Okay, is she related to Shadow in any way?"(SIL) Silver asked Annie and Crystal, both, while looking at Eva, shook their heads no. Eva had stopped her anger when she realized what she had done. Annie and Crystal approached her. "Eva? You alright?"(AN) Annie asked. Eva looked at them, then at the chaos emerald she held, it was the yellow one they had gotten from Rouge the Bat. Eva then remembered all the chaos emeralds they had, they had three, one from Rouge, another from the mountain they had foolishly climbed, and one from Silver. "Come on, how about you three spend one last night in the hotel."(SIL) Silver suggested. Eva seemed calmed down but was still angry at Mephiles for all he did. Eva and Crystal agreed but Annie wanted to sleep out here, but it was two to one so she gave in and they went back to the hotel where they slept for one more night.

The next day...

As the three girls left the hotel, early in the morning they began to exit the city that was their home for only a few day's, some terrifying day's but still, day's. The three started to walk again through the wild wilderness, with Knuckles and Silver following. Once again Annie was the 'emerald detector', but this time Knuckles walked beside her. At one point they did hold hands, but it was brief as they didn't want the others to see. As Annie and Knuckles led the way, Eva and Silver walked close behind, Crystal stayed not to far away, grateful the guy who wants her, isn't around. But who know's when Mephiles will appear next. As nighttime fell all five made a fire and started to get ready for bed. Silver did his best to make Eva comfortable, Annie slept on the ground with her jacket around a rock that served as her pillow, Crystal too slept on the ground. As for Knuckles he slept in a tree, Silver on the ground close to Eva. The chaos emeralds were safely tucked away in one of the girls backpacks. As they slept an unspeakable shadow began to loom over them. The shadow went to the girls backpacks and coming up out of the ground was Mephiles! Looking a lot like Shadow again. He silently unzipped Annie's backpack and started to search. They were not there, his next best guess was Eva. Silently he went to her's and began to search. As he did this everyone was fast asleep, until he made the mistake of making a loud sound of zipping Eva's backpack up. He quickly looked around to see who was awake. Annie heard it, fear overtook her as she knew someone was here, she heard some more unzipping and quickly looked up to see Knuckles fast asleep, her back to whoever was doing this, and tried to think of a way to wake him up without making a sound. While Mephiles searched Crystals, Annie quickly grabbed a rock and threw it at Knuckles, and actually managed to hit him. He opened his eye's and looked down at Annie, she had a feared look in her eye's, and looking up saw Mephiles looking into the pocket where the chaos emeralds were. Annie then thought of something, she had only one shot, so she had to get the location right, as Mephiles looked deeper she whispered. "Teleport!"(AN) Suddenly she was standing behind Mephiles, he stopped, "So, you're awake and what are you going to do to me?"(MEP) Mephiles said turning to Annie as she suddenly swished her arms down and said "Heavens light!"(AN) Suddenly everyone was awake as Mephiles was blinded by the light. Annie then grabbed the chaos emeralds that were in his hands, then Knuckles jumped over Annie and punched Mephiles in the face! "What the heck is going on!?"(EVA) Eva said awakened by the bright light. Crystal and Silver were up as well. Mephiles was still blinded by the light for a while as Knuckles continued to attack. Then Silver attacked Mephiles using his psychic powers. When Crystal awoke she saw Mephiles and got slightly scared until she realized he was blinded and was trying to escape. He ran into a tree while running. As Knuckles and Silver retrieved Mephiles and dragged him back to the camp, Crystal and Eva started up the fire again so that they can see. As Mephiles was sat down Eva didn't hesitate to punch him in the face. "That was for doing all this to us!"(EVA) Eva said as Silver tried to hold her back from throwing another. "Eva, calm down before you explode!"(SIL) Silver said as Annie approached. "Why were you taking the chaos Emeralds!?"(AN) She asked seriously. He began to laugh. "You think this is funny!? Mephiles!"(KNU) Knuckles said about to punch him also in the face. He continued to laugh. "You think you'll be able to go home so easily! I won't allow you to leave! Not until Crystal stays with me!"(MEP) "Not going to happen!"(AN) Annie said not about to throw her friend so that she and Eva may go home. He continues to laugh. "Crystal is of bare use to you, why do you need her?"(MEP) "I said, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! We won't give you our friend!"(AN) Eva then said. "You think we'd give up Crystal just to go home! We need Crystal!"(EVA) She said about to get extremely angry. Annie too was getting mad as well. Knuckles grabbed and lifted Mephiles off the ground. "You think these girls will give up their friend just for a trip home!? You had better right this wrong or I'll hurt you."(KNU) "As soon as I can see again, I'll make sure all of you die here in this world!"(MEP) Mephiles said laughing again. Knuckles then punched Mephiles. Annie wasn't liking this anger Knuckles was showing, and she could tell, neither were her friends. "I won't ever right the wrong I did to these girls. And I won't make it easy for them to return home!"(MEP) Mephiles said as Knuckles then threw another punch. "You leave these three alone Mephiles! Leave Annie, leave Eva, and leave Crystal alone! What wrong have they done!?"(KNU) "None, they are all part of an experiment, that is all. And I have fallen in love with..."(MEP) Mephiles said aiming his eye's at Crystal. Eva then got in the way, as too did Annie. That was when Mephiles started to see again. As he did his eye's went to Knuckles who was still holding him. "And you shall die!"(MEP) Mephiles said using his dark power to throw a spear into Knuckles! "KNUCKLES!!!"(AN) Annie cried out as Knuckles dropped Mephiles. "I'll be back! Unless Crystal gives up, one by one, you will fall!"(MEP) Then he dissapeared into smoke and left the scene. Annie ran to Knuckles. "KNUCKLES!!! Knuckles! Are you alright?"(AN) Annie said as Knuckles fell to the ground. He looked up at Annie, he was dying! He rolled onto his back and Annie inspected his wound, right through the stomache! "No, No, NO!!! Knuckles! Knuckles! Please! Get up!"(AN) Annie said as she lifted his weakening head. The others watched on as Annie tried to stop the bleeding. (N) Nayu thought to her. Annie nearly forgot! Her healing spell. "This had better work! Healing Light!"(AN) Annie said as she hovered her hands not to far above his wound. "An, An, Annie, I, I, I, love you."(KNU) Knuckles said before closing his eye's his head falling back to the ground. "NO! THIS HAS TO WORK! PLEASE KNUCKLES! DON'T DIE!!!"(AN) Annie begged as a ray of light showed from her hands onto his wound. This was weakening her though, slowly his wound began to heal, but Annie wasn't lasting long in strength. "Hang on Knuckles, I'm doing this for, as, long, as it, takes..."(AN) Annie said getting real weak from using the spell for so long. By the time his wound finally closed, Annie was nearly faint. She passed out though as soon as it was done and she fell, her head on top of Knuckles chest. "Annie!?"(CRY) Crystal said as she and Eva rushed to Annie who had passed out completely. As both friends looked at each other they tried to wake both of them up. Silver suggested that they wait till morning, and in the meantime sleep. They knew Mephiles wouldn't attack them again, not tonight.

The next morning...

Knuckles awoke to the sun rising, he was lying down and as he looked down he saw Annie's head on his chest with her hand on him, right where his wound was. That was when he remembered last night, Annie must've somehow saved him, but was Annie alright. She looked comfortable lying her head on his chest, and he could tell she too was alive. He reached his hand and placed it on her head. "Annie."(KNU) Knuckles whispered. He liked her, a lot, and it was obvious she too liked him. He watched her breath in and out. Then she too woke up, as she looked at his face he was smiling. She then sat up, as he did too, then Annie lept onto him in a hug. He too hugged her back. "I thought I lost you."(AN) Annie told him with tears in her eye's. He stayed silent as they hugged each other. They finally noticed their friend's sleeping and getting up held hands as they walked away to somewhere private.

Later...

When Crystal and Eva finally woke up they panicked because both Annie and Knuckles were missing! Silver quickly awoke to the panic ridden girls who did not know where their friend were! "Quick! We have to look for them!"(EVA) Eva said as both she and Crystal split up, Silver went to follow Eva as she searched high and low for them. Silver was the one who actually found them. They were at a lake just looking into each others eye's. When Eva backtracked to find Silver watching them she cried out, "ANNIE!"(EVA) Both were startled as Eva ran down. Both looked down at the fact they were found, they were just thinking about doing something together. "Annie! Thank goodness! Your alright! And Knuckles too?"(EVA) "I'm fine Eva, thank you for asking."(KNU) Knuckles said a little frustrated at the fact they were discovered, he was hoping to have a lot more alone time with Annie before returning to her friends. He was still holding hands with her when she sensed his slight anger she looked at him, he calmed down when he sensed her uneasiness. "Eva! Did you find them?"(CRY) Crystal said trying to find both Annie and Eva. "Yeah!"(EVA) Eva said as Crystal and Eva reunited with Annie. "Hey guy's."(AN) Annie said to them. "Annie, what did you do last night to save Knuckles?"(SIL) Silver asked. Annie then said, "I used my healing spell in order to save Knuckles, it wore me down though, that's why I passed out."(AN) Knuckles looked at her then as she blushed. He smiled, "Well I'm glad you did that Annie. What would you do without me?"(KNU) "I don't know."(AN) Annie said as all five of them returned to camp in order to eat some breakfast, before continueing their travels.

A week later...

By now they had found the purple chaos emerald in an ancient ruin, and the green chaos emerald, which was in a jungle. Now all they needed were the remaining two chaos emeralds, Orange, and White. We find our hero's walking through a desert, still looking for the chaos emeralds. Mephiles has, for some reason, stopped his attacks on the five of them. Maybe possibly because of Annie's ability to heal the wounded. As they walk Annie and Knuckles walk ahead scanning the area with their ability to sense chaos emeralds. "So! Do you guy's feel anything yet?"(EVA) Eva asked as Silver followed her with her and his water bottle, that and an umbrella. Crystal kept close to everyone, As Eva and Silver caught up Annie asked. "Eva, did you ask for Silver to bring an umbrella?"(AN) "No, he does it because he cares for me Annie!"(EVA) Eva said smiling, Annie raised an eyebrow before shrugging her shoulders and going back to walk by Knuckles. Crystal though has not been feeling so happy and giddy as her friends were, what with them having boyfriends, and she, well... She shuddered at the thought of having Mephiles as a boyfriend. Shaking the idea once more she ran to catch up with her friends. Suddenly Annie and Knuckles sensed something. It was another chaos emerald! Both suddenly stopped, as they did whenever they sensed a chaos emerald was near, and looked around wildly before pinpointing the precise location. "Annie? Knuckles?"(EVA) "You found another one?"(CRY) Crystal said excited as both Annie and Knuckles turned to them and smiling, nodded. "Woo-hoo! Here we go again!"(CRY) Crystal said excited that they were about to find another chaos emerald. As Annie and Knuckles looked at each other, smiling, both ran in the direction of the chaos emerald. Once again it's location was underneath the earth. As they reached the spot on the sand both of them began to punch the ground, digging a large hole out of the ground. After some time they found it and coming out of the hole Annie presented her friends with the sixth chaos emerald. "Awesome!"(CRY) Crystal said taking the emerald and looking at it. "Come on guy's, let's get out of this heat first before we cheer."(EVA) Complained Eva. As everyone agreed, they all went back to the woods they were at previously before entering the desert. As soon as they were comfortable they talked. "Now we have six chaos emeralds guys."(CRY) Crystal said as they all looked down. "And we already know where the last one is."(AN) Annie stated as she looked around. Everyone agreed on that. "We all know what we must do then."(AN) Annie then said. "Personally I don't want to go back to Mephiles house."(CRY) "Neither do any of us Crystal, but if we must go home, then we must go there."(AN) "I just wish it wasn't Mephiles we had to face."(EVA) Eva said as Silver sat next to her. Knuckles sat next to Annie as well. Crystal sat on the other side of Silver. Suddenly Knuckles sensed something and got up. "Knuckles?"(AN) "Stay here."(KNU) Knuckles said leaping into a bush, suddenly you heard grunts as Knuckles dragged out a fox. A rather handsome fox who was orange, and obviously not a kid. As Knuckles dragged him to the group Crystal saw him and he avoided her eye's by looking away. "This guy has been following us for the past couple of day's, I noticed him when we went to the jungle."(KNU) "Yeah and stole my emerald!"(FOX) "Is that why we found it in a hut. We thought it was abandoned!"(EVA) Eva stated. "Yeah, well I was coming back from a hunt! a long hunt."(FOX) He said as Knuckles dropped him in front of everyone. "So then who are you?"(AN) Annie asked. "My name is Robinelicus! Robin, for short, the fox! So uh, can I have it back?"(ROB) "I'm afraid we need it for something."(CRY) Crystal said as she noticed he was avoiding looking at her. "And what do you need a pretty gem like that for?"(ROB) He said dashing a quick look at Crystal before looking away again. "Hey! Do you got a problem looking at us?"(SIL) Silver said as he began to notice it too. "It's not you I'm avoiding! It's uh, it's her."(ROB) He said shyly pointing a finger at Crystal. Crystal felt bad for him. "And what is wrong with Crystal?"(EVA) Eva said as Annie took notice of the way he looked at Crystal. She looked from Crystal to Robin, back to Crystal. "Nothing!"(ROBIN) Robin said dashing a dangerous look at Eva. Silver gave him a sharp eye, standing up. Annie recognized the situation and quickly rushed to stop a fight before it started. "Hey now! Let's all just calm down before something bad happens. Nighttime is coming so we need to make a fire. Let's all take a break and help gather firewood."(AN) She suggested. Everyone got up and left to gather wood, but Robin just sat there. Annie looked at Crystal with a smile. Crystal confused went to Annie. "Annie, what's with that guy? He seems like a jerk."(CRY) "Maybe, but then again maybe not, usually I'm oblivious to these things, but I think he may be taking a liking to you."(AN) Annie hinted, winking. Crystal turned back to look at him. She walked back. As he noticed her coming he quickly looked away. "You want to help Robin?"(CRY) Robin finally looked at Crystal and getting up went in the opposite direction to look for wood. When everyone was back Silver was still giving dangerous looks to Robin. Robin ignored as he dropped the wood into the pile and Annie with Knuckles helped start the fire. As soon as it was started Eva and Silver got out the food and they started to cook. Robin looked up sometimes to Crystal with a sad look, but once Crystal took noticed he quickly looked away. "Here, everyone eat up."(EVA) Eva said handing food to everyone, except Robin. Silver stopped her from handing food to him. "I don't think he should be with us, he's a jerk."(SIL) He said as Eva agreed. Annie handed food over to Crystal and told her to give it to him. He sat away from everyone, facing away. "Hey, you hungry?"(CRY) "Crystal!"(EVA) Annie stopped her. He looked over his shoulder at her friends, then Crystal. Reaching a hand back Crystal handed him the food and while sitting his back away from the fire began to eat. After that everyone headed to bed. Robin went away and slept by himself. Annie looked at Knuckles as they tried to sneak away again. Sometimes they'd come back a little stinky, as they passed Robin, thinking he was asleep, he said. "You two sneaking off to do your thing again?"(ROB) Annie and Knuckles stopped embarassed at being found out. "Don't worry, your dirty little secret is safe with me. I caught you doing it in my hut."(ROB) Both really stopped at that! "Go on."(ROB) He said trying to stay warm in his small brought blanket. Annie and Knuckles looked at each other then turning around headed back to camp. Both extremely embarassed now, to the point both were, well, very, very, bright red! They just slept next to each other, just not too close. Knuckles just kept looking at where Robin slept, still extremely embarassed at them being found out. Robin smiled a lot at telling those two what he caught them doing once.

The next morning...

Annie and Knuckles couldn't sleep that night, after being found out, they had to. But it wouldn't be the first time they went without sleep so the two acted like normal as they packed up and turned around. They had to head back to the city, where Mephiles held the final chaos emerald needed for Annie, Crystal, and Eva to get home. As the team of now six continued on, with Annie and Knuckles, Eva and Silver, and Crystal stayed well ahead of Robin, who on purpose was lagging behind. Annie slowed down to Crystal and told her to go walk with Robin then ran to catch up with Knuckles. Crystal rolled her eye's and slowed down to Robin. "Hey."(CRY) Robin looked at her, then back at the road. "Hey."(ROB) He said. Silence followed until Robin finally asked. "So, uh, why do you need these emeralds again?"(ROB) "We, Me, Annie, and Eva, need them in order to get back home."(CRY) "And just where is your home?"(ROB) "In another dimension, you see we, we're not a fox, hedgehog, or echidna, we're really humans."(CRY) "No joke?"(ROB) He said shockingly taking this well. "Yeah, no joke. You believe us?"(CRY) "Why not? you three seem honest, though I don't think that Silver guy likes me all that much."(ROB) "Oh don't mind him, he is protective of Eva."(CRY) "Yeah, I can see that."(ROB) Robin said as he went over a log, which Crystal wasn't paying attention to and tripped over. Robin looked ahead at her friends walking on, they hadn't noticed her trip. He looked down at her and then sighing helped her up. "You alright?"(ROB) "Yeah, I'm okay..."(CRY) "Yeah, let's keep going then."(ROB) Robin said interrupting Crystal and walking on. Crystal getting mad ran up to him and said. "What's your problem!?"(CRY) "What do you mean, what's my problem?"(ROB) "You act, you acting like a total jerk."(CRY) "Well sorry but I wasn't raised in a happy-go-lucky family like you and your friends apparently had!"(ROB) Crystal paused. After a while Robin stopped and looking back said. "Hey! You comin? I don't think your friends want to leave you behind."(ROB) "Uh right!"(CRY) Crystal said catching up to walk by him. Even more silence. Crystal then spoke. "So Robin, what was your family like?"(CRY) "Completely idiotic, stupid beyond belief, and ignorant people!!!"(ROB) He said with a lot of anger. Crystal then thought about her brother and how big of a jerk he was. "I know how you feel, I had a brother who was a jerk to me too."(CRY) "Yeah well, be grateful that you only had one jerk in your family."(ROB) He said quickening his pace. Crystal being oblivious to his problem with the topic of his parents, caught up and began to talk once more. "What did they do to you?"(CRY) "They abandoned me, left me on the street with nothing but my very bones. No one raised a finger or ever gave me a hug and tell me they love me!!! I had to learn to fend for myself. Most of the time I am unlucky, but every once in a while I'll hit a jackpot. It's not easy living on your own, but I had no choice. They just, drove me to the city dropped me off at a local store, then left me behind, laughing their heads off."(ROB) "Do you love them?"(CRY) "NO! I don't love them! I hate them! Each and every one of them! If I had known what they were to do with me I'd, I'd!!!"(ROB) Robin said before turning and punching a nearby tree! Everyone stopped and turned around to stare at Robin who was now extremely mad. Knuckles and Silver then rushed to get in front of Annie and Eva, in order to protect them from harm. Robin simply looked at everyone with anger in his eye's then said. "I'm sorry, but I need time to myself. Please, continue your trip."(ROB) With that Robin left to be alone, and the remaining five started to walk again. Eva then told Silver that she was going to talk to Crystal. "Hey Crystal, why'd Robin get mad?"(EVA) "I don't know, we were just talking about his family, that was all."(CRY) "Crystal maybe he doesn't like talking about his family."(EVA) "Hey guy's, Crystal, why did Robin get mad?"(AN) "We were talking aobut his family when he hit the tree, said something like 'if I knew what they were to do with me I'd, something, something'."(CRY) Crystal said. "Maybe Robin doesn't like to be reminded of his past Crystal."(AN) "Yeah Eva just told me."(CRY) Crystal said looking back to try and see Robin. She felt bad for him, to a point. When Robin did re-unite with the crew he was calmed down completely. "Hey guy's."(ROB) He said as they were about to stop again for the night. They were very far from the city. You'd think with as big as the city was it would've been easy to reach. Annie and Knuckles now saw no reason to be ahead of the group, now that they were heading back to the city, knowing where the last chaos emerald was. So the two stayed back allowing Eva and Silver to lead the way. When Robin was alone though Annie and Knuckles had to make sure he wasn't going to tell anyone. "I told you two last night, I wasn't going to tell anyone, so just drop it!"(ROB) He said avoiding the vile thoughts. "Just do me a favor Robin, don't do it with Crystal, or I'll swear me and Eva WILL come and kill you!!!"(AN) "Don't worry, that is the last thing on my mind."(ROB) Robin said walking ahead as Annie and Knuckles stopped, giving each other smiles. Then they continued to walk on.

Later...

As nightime once again came around the group had to once again stop and get ready for bed. Once again Robin ate away from everyone. As he ate Silver asked why we were bringing him along. "What's the point of having him around?"(SIL) Annie didn't know what to say to that. "Yeah! He's a jerk!"(EVA) "Now let's not judge him for the way he acts, but on his real self."(AN) Annie said showing some wisdom. "Whatever Annie, I just don't like him."(EVA) Eva said as everyone looked at Robin who had his back to the group eating. He knew that they were talking about him. He even knew that they were looking at him at that moment. What was he doing following this group. That puzzled everyone. As everyone fell asleep a jealous shadow floated above them, and on a nearby rocky hill a dangerous shadow appeared rising out of the ground in his crystal version. He looked enviously at the new member of the crew, Robin. What did Robin have that Mephiles didn't? He decided that he would soon put a stop to it, so turning around he left in his black cloud.

Yet the next morning...

Out of all the group Annie was the last to get up for some reason, when she did she announced something. "Guy's, something is about to happen, to Robin."(AN) She declared. Knuckles and Silver weren't interested, neither was Robin, however, Eva and Crystal knew that when Annie had a dream like that, it usually came true! Just like what was about to happen to them before they drank the water and changed into Sonic characters. "Annie what was it about?"(CRY) Crystal asked, "I'm not sure, but it did feature something happening to Robin!"(AN) Annie said warning her friends. "Why should we care? It's just a dream isn't it?"(ROB) "Don't be like that Annie sometimes has dreams that tell her of the nearing future. So Annie what happened to Robin in the dream?"(CRY) "I'm not sure, all I know is that it involves Mephiles somehow."(AN) "And just who is Mephiles again?"(ROB) "The guy who wants Crystal for a girlfriend!"(EVA) Eva told him harshly. "Okay then, did not need the duh point."(ROB) Said Robin without sarcasm to Eva. "Hey! You watch what you say around Eva okay!"(SIL) "Relax, I'm not after your girl."(ROB) Robin stated moving his eye's on Silver without turning his head, then looking foreward again. Silver and Eva stopped and looked at each other. "So who ARE you after?"(EVA) "I don't see a reason to tell you two."(ROB) Robin said getting ahead.

Later in the day...

Crystal once again tries to talk to Robin as they move along. "So Robin, what do you do for a living?"(CRY) "Hunt. It's the only way to survive here in this world."(ROB) Annie then remembered a very valuable part of her dream. "Girls, there is one more thing you ought to know about my dream, I think Mephiles was lying about us not being able to turn back."(AN) "What!?"(CRY & EVA) Both said at once. The other guys turned to stare. "You mean, we'll be able to turn back?"(EVA) Eva said excited. "Yeah, I think so."(AN) Annie said not telling her friends about one more important key to the dream, her child. Annie thought it best not to inform them of that, anyway's she wasn't sure about it. She could not inform her girlfriends of what she did. She knew they'd be extremely mad at her for it. So they walked on in silence, when they finally reached the jungle Robin stopped the crew for a moment. "I need to check my hut real fast."(ROB) He said rushing off to his hut and as they waited Annie kept giving off an odd vib to Knuckles. He was noticing it and took her aside to talk. "Annie, what's wrong?"(KNU) Annie looked down. "I don't know, don't know how to tell you."(AN) "Tell me? Tell me what? Please Annie tell me, what's wrong?"(KNU) "Knuckles, we did something bad and I think there, is, a consequence that will happen as a result."(AN) "You mean when we?"(KNU) "Yeah, that thing."(AN) "Annie what are you trying to tell me?"(KNU) Annie took a deep breath and looked into Knuckles purple eye's. "Knuckles, do you love me? Really love me?"(AN) "Yes, yes I do Annie."(KNU) "Knuckles, I think I'm, I'm,"(AN) Annie breathed out. "I think I'm pregnant."(AN) Knuckles had a shocked look on his face. "Oh my gosh! Are you serious!?"(KNU) Annie looked down and nodded, some tears in her eye's. "But it's not official yet. It happened in my dream, so I'm not sure if it's for real."(AN) She said as Knuckles raised her head to look in his eye's. "Annie, is this good news to you, or bad?"(KNU) "Actually, to me, it's wonderful news, I'm just ashamed that I did it without marriage."(AN) "Without marriage?"(KNU) "It's part of what I believe in. I'm a christian back home, it's a religion."(AN) Annie said once again looking down. "Annie, I'm happy too."(KNU) Now it was Annie's turn to look at him in shock. "Really!?"(AN) She said. He nodded and Annie then lept onto him with a hug. "Annie! Annie where are you!?"(EVA) Eva said as Annie quickly looked at Knuckles. "Knuckles, we can't tell anyone about this! Not yet anyway's."(AN) Knuckles then winked at her telling her it was their little secret. They'll find out once they reached the city. When Robin returned the group went on.

A few day's later...

as the crew finally reached the city Annie and Knuckles suggested they take one night of a break while they were there, then Annie and Knuckles went to the store to get something. When they returned both had a pleased look on their faces and were holding hands in front of everyone. They usually hid that. That was when Eva and Crystal began to suspect something was up. But they ignored it as they turned into the hotel and went to sleep once more in comfy beds.

The next day...

As the crew prepared for meeting Mephiles at his house Robin prepared his weapons when Crystal came in. When Robin noticed he motioned for her to come to him and handed her a knife. "Your going to need a weapon. If this guy likes you, he'll do anything to get a grasp of you, in which case you use this knife and attack him with it."(ROB) Crystal looked at her weapon, and then back to Robin who was grabbing his own knife and tucking it away. "Thanks, Robin. Thanks for everything."(CRY) Crystal said trying to give him a hug. He accepted it, but wanted it brief so he took her hands and looked over his shoulder at her. "Thank you, Crystal."(ROB) He said when he noticed the others looking at them. "Well, uh, thank you again Crystal, but we'd better get going."(ROB) He said getting up and walking off.

With that the group set off to Mephiles house. As they neared it Crystal began to lag behind to Robin who put his arm around her. "Here we are guys."(AN) Annie said as she stood there with Knuckles, Eva, Silver, Crystal, and Robin. They stood there side by side looking at the scary house. "Let's do this then!"(EVA) Eva said boldly walking toward the house, with Silver right beside her. Annie and Knuckles followed closely. The last to follow was Crystal and Robin. Reaching the door Annie and Knuckles were about to break the door down when Knuckles stopped Annie from doing it. He looked at Annie and she read his looks and stopped. "Why aren't you doing it Annie?"(EVA) "Well I uh,"(AN) She said trying to figure out what to say. "What she means is, it's best if I do it instead of just me and her."(KNU) Knuckles said reading Annie's pleading eye's. "Okay then, everyone out of the way!"(KNU) Knuckles said as he ran to break the door down. But just as he got there the door opened and Knuckles fell right through it! "Knuckles! You alright?"(AN) Annie said rushing to him. "I'm fine!"(KNU) He said getting up. "Well! Come on you two!"(ROB) Robin said as he with Crystal, Eva and Silver, rushed in. Annie and Knuckles soon followed. They stayed in a tight group as they walked around the mansions front. They soon saw the door that Annie and Eva busted through before along with the door of where she came from. "Now Crystal, where do you think he holds the emerald at?"(EVA) "I don't know."(CRY) Then she thought back. "Maybe a good place to start is the garden I found."(CRY) "Great idea Crystal! Just, where is this garden?"(AN) Crystal pointed to the door that led to the long hallway. As our heroes entered they could see no other end to the hallway. "Come on Crystal, you have to lead the way!"(ROB) Robin encouraged Crystal. She didn't like the idea of being ahead in this situation. "Don't worry, I'm here."(ROB) Robin said standing next to Crystal the whole time. Finally they reached an open door that luckily led to a garden. It wasn't very big but as they entered the door closed behind them! Robin went to check and found the door was locked. "Grand! Now we're stuck!"(ROB) Robin said turning around to look at everyone. "Everyone! Search for an exit!"(EVA) Eva said as everyone looked around for one. Then Robin found something. "Guy's!"(ROB) He said as everyone rushed to him. When they reached him they asked what was wrong, he pointed at the emerald. It stood on a pedestal. "No, something isn't right. It seems too... Obvious."(AN) Annie stated. "Ah, you girls worry too much! I'll get it!"(ROB) Robin said going towards it. "Wait!"(CRY) Crystal said as Robin touched it, suddenly a spear-like ray spiked him! As he fell another pierced him and another! Everyone looked at him shocked as he fell to the ground. Crystal rushed foreward to him. Picking up his head he said. "I told you, I was unlucky."(ROB) He then passed out. Someone laughs. Everyone looked around when a black smoke appeared, Crystal seeing the smoke grabbed Robin and tried to drag him back to the team before Mephiles got to her. But she was too late as Mephiles got between her and her friends. "Mephiles!"(CRY) Crystal cried out as the others attempted to attack him. He then shot a warning spear at them. "We meet again Crystal."(MEP) He said as a row of spears blocked the others from reaching Crystal and Robin. "Crystal!!!"(AN) "Hang on Crystal! We're coming!"(EVA) Eva and Annie cried out trying to get past the row of spears. "So, you thought that you could dump me so easily? Now see the result of your betrayal."(MEP) He said as Crystal looked at the unconcious and dying Robin. "Annie! Quick use your teleport to get us in there!"(EVA) Eva said as an idea came to mind. "Fine then! Everyone grab me! NOW!!!"(AN) Annie said as everyone grabbed Annie. "Everyone ready!? Here goes! TELEPORT!!!"(AN) Annie said as all of them vanished and reappeared in front of Crystal. But as she did this she became incredibly weak, and fell backwards into Knuckles arms. "So you think you can challenge me!? You were supposed to die back there Knuckles!"(MEP) Mephiles said as Annie regained her strength and went with Eva to Robin's nearly dead body and Crystal. "Annie! Use your healing spell!"(CRY) Crystal begged. "I'll give it all I've got."(AN) Annie said as she hovered her hands over Robin's most harmful wound and said "Healing Light."(AN) Now Annie's healing spell was far more stronger, but as she moved from wound to wound it proved to not be enough. As the guy's fought Mephiles, Annie continued to use her spell. But when Knuckles looked back he saw her nearly pass out! "Silver! Keep fighting!"(KNU) He said rushing to stop Annie from using her powers any further. When he got there he put his hand on her shoulder and said for her to stop. She, being extremely weak, stopped and lied down for a bit. Then he rejoined the fight with Mephiles. As the fight drew on, all three girls tended to Robin who was still unconcious. Then just as Annie paid attention once more to the fight, she saw something terrible happen, Mephiles threw more spears at Knuckles and Silver!!! That was when Eva looked and saw Silver get hit, along with Knuckles! "SILVER!!!"(EVA) "KNUCKLES!!!"(AN) Both cried out. Then the three girls looked at each other and reading each other's minds stood up against Mephiles and went into the fight! Crystal with her weapon, Annie with her powers, and Eva with her chaos control abilities. As they ran in and Mephiles took notice Annie quickly swished her arms yelling. "Heaven's Light!"(AN) Blinded Eva went in and used Chaos Control to blast him away, then Crystal threw her knife at him. It hit him! But no blood came out! As he got up he laughed at the three. "Well I have to admit, you three are a bigger pain than I had anticipated. You three, pathetic, useless humans have turned into thorns in my side. You have lived and passed all my experiments and tests, something that seemed utterly impossible for goody-goody-girls to ever accomplish! Yet here you are! You've discovered abilities, overcome weather and storms, and might I say I am impressed with how close a bond you three share with yourselves, and these even more unfortunate souls. Too bad they will all die soon. Along with you three!"(MEP) Mephiles said as he threw a spear at the three girls. Annie raised her hands in front of her and said. "Barrier!"(AN) The spears did no penetrate the purple shield in front of her, protecting her and her friends from harm. "WHAT THE!?"(MEP) Said Mephiles as Annie said. "Now Eva!"(AN) Eva ran in front of her to throw a chaos spear at Mephiles. "UGH!"(MEP) He said as he actually felt that. "That was for Silver!"(EVA) Eva said as Crystal found the knife and threw it at him. "This is for Robin!"(CRY) Then Annie came in last and said "Heaven's Light!"(AN) "And this is for Knuckles!"(AN) Then all three stopped, Mephiles stood there, eye's fading, life draining. Finally he falls to the ground, defeated, at last. As he laid there dying Eva went up to him and grabbing him said. "Where is the antidote!?"(EVA) He began to laugh once more. "It's in my laboratory. Good luck in finding it!"(MEP) He said laughing to his death.

As the team looked at him they realized that Silver and Knuckles are still in trouble, so Annie and Eva rushed to their sides. Annie used her healing light on him, then went over to Silver and healed him too. After which when Annie stood up she fell over backwards, once again into Knuckles arms. Knuckles decided then that Annie and Robin needed rest. Robin, despite being healed, was still unconcious. And for a while remained that way. When he did awake his head was on Crystal's lap. When he opened his eye's he saw he was looking right at Crystal. In her beautiful white fox fur. When she looked down at him a big smile appeared on her face! "Guy's! Guy's! He's awake! He's finally awake!"(CRY) She yelled out to the others. As everyone came around to see him he said. "I thought I was dead. What happened? Who saved my life?"(ROB) "That would be me Robin."(AN) Annie said to him. Sitting up Robin looked around. "So where is the chaos emerald."(ROB) Everyone turned to look and saw that the white chaos emerald was still there. Knuckles then reached out and grabbed it. As everyone observed the emerald, Annie began to look down. She knows that soon it will be decision time in order to choose whether to stay here, or go back home. When Knuckles busted the door open they exited the room. "So, anyone have a clue as to where this laboratory is?"(ROB) Robin said after he was informed of what had happened. Fact was, no one had a clue as to where to first look. With Mephiles dead, it was now safe to seperate and search the place. So Annie went with Knuckles to the east side, Eva and Silver to the west side, finally Crystal and Robin searched the back of it. As Crystal and Robin searched Robin talked to Crystal. "Hey Crystal."(ROB) "Yeah?(CRY) "Uh, thanks."(ROB) "For what?"(CRY) "For uh, being there for me."(ROB) "No problem."(CRY) "You know, you are pretty cool, for a goody-goody fox slash human."(ROB) Robin said as he and Crystal continued. They searched high and low for the laboratory, and couldn't find it. As the team regrouped at the front they wondered where the lab was. "I'm starting to think there isn't one."(CRY) Crystal said. "But Annie's dream!"(EVA) "Don't worry Eva, we'll find it somewhere."(AN) Annie assured her. As nighttime fell all six had to stop for the night and once out they went to the hotel to rest.

The next morning...

When morning arose the team went back out to search for it again. As they were about to give up Annie looked out the back window at a strange little cottage nearby. "Guy's, where is the back door?"(AN) Annie said as one by one everyone said they didn't know. "Why Annie?"(EVA) "Because I think I might have found it!"(AN) She said as she looked around and found there were no doors leading to this unusual spot in the back of the mansion. "He must have used his ghost-like abilities to get to it."(KNU) Knuckles said looking through the window like everyone else was. The window was way too small for anyone to fit through. "Then that's it, we'll use my t-move in order to get in there."(AN) "Annie you sure you can handle all of us? Without passing out?"(KNU) Annie looked at him with a reasuring face saying yes. As everyone grabbed onto Annie she used her teleport move and got them in front of the cottage. As Eva opened the door they found it to be anything but a cottage. Inside they found laboratory equipment such as vials, test tubes, microscopes, and many other things. As they looked around they saw that on a wall were the ingredients to his 'special' water that changed Annie, Crystal, and Eva. "We need to destroy this place!"(ROB) "Not before we find the antidote!"(EVA) Eva said harshly to Robin. Annie then found some sort of little capsule labeled "Dimensional Portal." "This is how he's been getting to and from our realm."(AN) She whispered to herself. Then taking the item hid it. She planned on telling her friends the truth when the moment was right. "FOUND IT!!!"(CRY) Crystal said as she found a room full of the antidote! "Here it is guy's!"(AN) Annie said as she came in last to see all the antidotes. Quickly Eva and Crystal grabbed some and the group left the building. Robin was about to set the place aflame when Annie stopped him. "Maybe we should wait on destroying this place, let's get out first."(AN) She said and once they were out Eva told Robin. "Yeah! How about me, Annie, and Crystal take a drink of the antidote."(EVA) Said Eva as she opened one vial, Crystal the next, but Annie didn't. The others looked at her. "Annie?"(EVA) "Annie? What's wrong."(CRY) Annie looked down. "Girls, I can't drink this."(AN) "Why not? Do you think it's poison?"(EVA) "No! It's just that."(AN) Annie said as she looked down at her stomache. The others didn't follow or see her really looking at her belly. "Annie? What's the matter?"(EVA) "Eva, Crystal, both of you are going to be real mad at me for this."(AN) Annie said as she dropped the vial in front of them. Eva crossed her arms and became serious. Annie looked up at them then said. "I, me and Knuckles, did something bad, together."(AN) Eva was starting to see something in this. "But. I... I."(AN) she said as she placed her hand on her belly. Eva's eye's went wide. "Annie! You didn't!!"(EVA) Annie looked up at her nodding yes. Crystal then got the picture. "OH MY GOSH!!! ANNIE! YOU DIDN'T REALLY!!!"(CRY) Annie once again looked down at her stomache and said. "Yes, I did."(AN) "Annie!!! Tell us you are joking! TELL US YOU ARE JOKING!!!"(EVA) Eva said getting mad. She reached out for Annie when Silver stopped her. "Annie! Tell us the truth!"(CRY) Crystal said. Annie then looked at her friends bravely and said. "I, I am pregnant."(AN) When Annie said that her friends, all except for Knuckles who already knew, looked at her with such shock. Annie didn't back down until she felt everyone elses eye's on her. She then backed down and turning around fled. "Annie!"(KNU) Knuckles said as she ran past him with tears. Eva and Crystal stood there shocked by what Annie had just said. As Knuckles, Silver, and Robin looked at the two girls Knuckles said. "She's been meaning to tell you two for a while now."(KNU) "How long has she been pregnant?"(CRY) Crystal asked as Eva gave Knuckles a deadly look. "We found out only a few day's ago."(KNU) "Knuckles! I have a bone to pick with you!"(EVA) Eva said walking toward Knuckles. Knuckles backed off, Eva was about to explode with anger onto Knuckles for doing this. "Hey now, wait a second! Hold on there Eva!"(KNU) He said backing off even further as Eva neared him. He wasn't sure whether to run, or face Eva. When she reached him she punched him five times in the arm. "That was for what you did to Annie!!!"(EVA) Silver then stopped her from doing any more damage, as he dragged Eva away Knuckles rubbed his right arm. "Ouch, that really hurt."(KNU) He said to Robin as Silver walked and took the vial Annie dropped, a thought had entered his mind.

Three hours later...

By now our heroines Crystal and Eva are worried about Annie so they asked their boyfriends, along with Knuckles, to go search for her. When Knuckles found her it was in the most unlikeliest of places. She was in a clean underground tunnel which had water in it. As she sat by the edge Knuckles approached, she sensed him coming. "What have I done Knuckles?"(AN) She asked, mainly to herself. Knuckles silently came by and sat next to her. Annie was continually looking at the water. "Annie?"(KNU) "What have I done to myself? I can't believe myself. What was I thinking!?"(AN) Annie said grabbing a nearby rock and tossing it at the underground river. Then she noticed her hand and bringing both to her face she stared at them. "I can't believe what I had done, I mean, I've alway's had a secret desire to do things like this, but I never knew how hard it was going to be to face my friends like this."(AN) She said touching her face with her hands, all the way to her snout. Annie continued to stare as tears began to well up in her eye's then she brought her knees up, wrapped her arms around them, then cried. Knuckles looked down and for a while as Annie sobbed. When she stopped she looked back at the water then down at her stomache. Once again she laid her hand on her belly, where she now knew that a baby of her own was in. She then went back to staring at her hands, then at the gloves. Knuckles gently took hold of one of them and taking off the glove looked at her bare hand. "You know Annie, you could go back and change all of this."(KNU) "What do you mean?"(AN) "I mean go back to being human, and go home."(KNU) "And risk our childs life in the process? Absolutely not!"(AN) Annie said as she looked again at the water. "Annie, you have to face your friends."(KNU) "I know that, it's just how can I do it? I feel ashamed, yet somehow proud, of what we did, together."(AN) Annie said raising her head and turned to look at him. "Annie, I'm sorry."(KNU) "No, don't be, this is all my doing, I wanted to do it, and now I'll pay the price."(AN) "Annie why don't you come back?"(KNU) "Because, because I don't know how to face my friends right at this moment."(AN) Annie said as Knuckles put back on the glove. He then took Annie's hand and got up with her. "Annie, I've seen you be braver than this."(KNU) "Yes, well, you know what they say, it's hard to stand up to people, but even harder to stand up to a friend."(AN) Annie said as Knuckles tried to walk her out. But she stopped. Knuckles looked at her, with her head down in defeat. "I'm sorry Knuckles, but this is going to be very different from now on."(AN) She admitted looking up at Knuckles, straight into his eye's. Knuckles then walked to Annie and laid his hand on her stomache saying. "Annie, it doesn't matter, not anymore. Now come on, your friends are worried about you."(KNU) Knuckles said as he led the way holding Annie's hand till they got outside. It was still broad daylight, but not for much longer. Annie and Knuckles then went on a walk, where he comforted her at the park. After all of this, everyone had changed, quite a bit. All three of them had boyfriends now, and the guy's learned things from the girls. When Knuckles re-united Annie to Crystal and Eva both were excited to see Annie and gave her hugs. "Annie! We were worried when you didn't return."(CRY) "I'm sorry girls, but I don't know how to face you."(AN) Annie said about to run again, when Eva gently grabbed her hand. "Annie, it's alright, we forgive you."(EVA) Eva said as Annie turned her head back to them. "Eva, Crystal, my two best friends in the world!"(AN) Annie said going back and hugging her two dearest friends. As the three hugged Eva said. "At least we are together."(EVA) "Let's go find that holy temple now!"(CRY) Crystal said as the three broke. As Crystal and Eva moved on Annie stopped them. "Girls, there is one more thing I haven't told you."(AN) Both girls turned to Annie. Annie then took out the big capsule and presented them with it. "What is it?"(EVA) Eva said as Crystal reached and took it. "Oh my gosh! Is this a dimensional portal?"(CRY) Crystal said as she read the print on it. "Yes, I think this is how he's been getting to our world and back."(AN) Annie said as both her friends looked at her. "Annie, thanks! Now we can all go home, together."(EVA) Eva said as Crystal asked how it worked. "I'm not sure on that Eva. Here Crystal let me help."(AN) Annie said as Eva grabbed her. "Annie, what are you saying now."(EVA) "Wait a second, hold that thought. Crystal, Nayu know's how to open it. Hand it to me."(AN) She replied going to Crystal. As she put it into her hand Annie let Nayu take control and she put it on the ground and motioned for the others to back off. "Portal, open. Dimension Realm Reality, planet Earth."(N) Nayu said as Knuckles saw an entirely different version of Annie take over. Once the portal shook and opened it revealed a large vertical oval. As they all looked through it Crystal, Annie, and Eva, all saw their home world! "Home!"(CRY) "We did it! We did it guy's! We're going home! Come on let's drink and then go!"(EVA) Eva said. "And so we come to the end of the road."(AN) Annie said as the others turned to look at her. "Come again Annie?"(EVA) "We've come to the end of this story girls. Sadly, I'm not going home with you girls."(AN) Annie said smiling while looking down. "But Annie, what about our families?"(EVA) "We won't go home without you!"(CRY) "I'm sorry girls, but I have sealed my fate. I have to stay."(AN) She said raising her head with a smile at them. "But."(CRY) "No but's, you girls change back and go home, just promise me you'll visit the sonic world."(AN) "Annie, we aren't leaving without you!"(EVA) "Yeah, three of us came to this world, so three of us have to go!"(CRY) "Then I'll come."(SIL) Said Silver as he came foreward. "I'll come with you then Eva."(SIL) He said as he went to her and took her hands. "Silver. But you're not human."(EVA) "It doesn't matter, I brought this along."(SIL) He said taking out a blue vial. "Let's be human, together."(SIL) Silver said as he opened the lid and took a drink. Then Eva took out her's and took a drink. As the others watched Eva and Silver turned human. Silver had long white hair, wore a white shirt with blue pants, his eye's were beautifully blue. As Eva changed back with her short brown hair and brown eye's, she still wore her pink skirt and pink shirt. Both transformed holding hands facing each other. Eva then took out her glasses and looked at Silver. He was incredibly handsome. Then he reached down and kissed her on the lips. Annie had tears in her eye's as she saw the love those two shared. Then Crystal took out her vial and was about to drink it, until she noticed Robin on the side looking down at the ground. She stopped and went to him. He then looked at her. "What?"(ROB) Robin asked. "Do you want to come along?"(CRY) "Crystal, I think both of us know that it won't work out."(ROB) He said as Crystal hearing this looked away at her friends. Suddenly Robin grabbed her face and kissed her in front of everyone. Then stopping said. "I wish I had more time though. But you're human, and I'm, I'm not. Goodbye Crystal."(ROB) He said turning and walking off. "Robin!"(CRY) Crystal yelled, as he turned to her, with a sad look on his face. She gave him a thumbs up saying. "Thank's anyway's!"(CRY) "I'm sure someone better than me will come along."(ROB) He said turning to leave. "I'll never forget you though!"(CRY) Crystal said as she went to Eva and Silver and drank turning back to human. As everyone turned to Annie and Knuckles who remained. "Goodbye Annie!"(CRY) "Yeah, take good care of yourself, and Knuckles! You'd better marry Annie before she gives birth! OR ELSE!"(EVA) Eva said as both she and Crystal had to bend down a little to give Annie a hug. "Guy's I'll miss you! I'll make sure to send wedding invitations before I marry!"(AN) Annie told them as they backed off and turned to walk toward the portal. As Silver passed through it, Eva and Crystal stopped and looked one more time to Annie. Then Crystal went through, finally Eva went through and Annie said. "Portal close."(AN) After that the portal went back to being a capsule. Annie went up to it and looked down at it. "Take good care of yourselves girls."(AN) She said as Knuckles went up to her and looked at her. "Well, I guess that is the end of this story."(AN) Annie said. "But it's the beginning of another."(KNU) "You've got that right Knuckles."(AN) She said as she took the portal device and walked away with Knuckles.
