I think it's that the key light was too close to the model and I got an extreme highlight line on the chin between the two lights. So shrug not sure either. It's not that sharp or angular when not rendered. Ah yes Boris .... and Julie Bell some of my faves for fantasy!!

Yes, I can definitely see the Vallejo inspiration in not just her, but the entire image really. It has a classic fantasy look even down to her musculature and curvature.

The image and figure look wonderful. Is it a morph of that character Marnie you've used because she looks so different here than Marnie in your other renders. Is it just the lighting that you mentioned that changed her look that much?
