Do not try to run nor hide.

What a special window in time
I am here to occupy.

Here to paint.
Here to write.

Where if I had been born just 30 years before
I'd more likely be institutionalized, labotomized
or both.

But here I am now.

Able to live my life
and experience my passion.

To learn, explore, and be free.

I would rather be here than anywhere else.

In my painting,
my poems,
music and journals.

In nature and at home.

When I accept myself for who I am,
live my life in peace with meaning,
trust in it despite
my overwhelming paranoid feelings;

Perhaps being different
is not so bad after all.
