I really love the colors you used in this one, all the pretty teals and the beautiful splashes
of colors added too, hmm, what medium did you use? Seems like watercolor as well as ink?

She's really cute and the ladybug is too, Awh~! Her pattern is simply gorgeous!
The application of gray was very well done! Love those splotches of smooth color!

Hmm, did you cut and paste her onto the background or is that one piece? Seems hard not
to get anything to bleed into her, impressive however you did it!

Wow, thank you so much for the time you took to write such a lovely comment! I really appreciate that, it's so rar to read comments like you did here

It's all on one piece. I covered the cat with papers before I splashed the colours on it to keep her clean! And I just used watercolours and a waterproof pen for the linearts, of course!

Anytime Muuki! ^-^

Oh ok, wow, I really love traditional mediums for their own
much more natural finished look, if that makes sense x3
I personally love hands-on artwork and digital art really isn't
like that, you're motivating me to go do some traditional work~!
What kind of paper though? xD
Still can't picture this for some reason...

For watercolour you should use thick paper for sure, you probably already guess it!
I use paper from "HahnemΓΌhle (Britannia)" - I got it commended and I always did good experience with that!

You should totally try to do something traditional! I like digital a lot too but I never am so relaxed while drawing digital as when I do something traditional<3 And especially with watercolours you can mess around with colours a lot!

Ok x3
I'll probably ask my art teacher what paper
she recommends also, just to buy locally xD

True, I did a lot of traditional art in my honors art
class last year and it can be so much more relaxing
just working on something right in front of you paint
and all. ^_^
