finally, i get to explain the witches

these three are the leaders

the blue one is named: Wilhelmina sapphire

the pink one (the main leader) is named: Gwendolyn moonlight

the brown one is named: Eleanore aura

the town they lived in did not like witches due to hearing how they do magic thus having a bad reputation when that is far from the truth

these three ponies were friends since filly hood when they were young adults Gwendolyn found a book explaining the history of magic in a library and read about strange magic and stories of witches from the past. She read what they can do, and the potions they did. Gwendolyn found this interesting and showed it to her friends.

When she showed her friends they found it fascinating as well and read more, they wanted to know more so they looked for more books about witches, they did and it had some spells, they were simple yet even though the author of the book does not believe it they tried the spells anyway...and they work, the spells they found were of manifesting a disk so an earth pony or unicorn can use to fly and manifest an animal made out of magic and they act similar to the real animal.

for some time they found more books from shops other ponies found strange and practice this type of magic and learned how to make their own soon even Wilhelmina and Eleanore can use magic at the same level as a unicorn despite being an earth pony and Pegasus. other ponies in their town spared terrible stories when they say signs of the strange magic used by Wilhelmina, Eleanore, and Gwendolyn; calling them terrible names. their parents do not approve of what they do when they found out and want them to stop, so Wilhelmina, Eleanore, and Gwendolyn did it in secret.

everypony in the town were suspicious and the three mare's parents want the town to leave them alone but it was not long until they were found in the woods and saw that they were indeed witches, they try to explain that witches are not evil but they would not listen the three mare's parents try to stop the mob but it was no use so they and their parents ran away from the town.

the three mares explained to their parents the truth and show them the papers they had written down so they can have their info once they returned the books and the parents finally understand but they say they have to move from the town and go to another but they don't want to expose their secret so they all agree to find a new home together.

so they made their homes in a forest and over the years they learned more about witches and even met some that were hiding in secret in herb shops and gem shops they learned more about the history and written them down in their book as well as the spell that was used to help a king and turn his small kingdom into wolves so they can avoid starvation, they recruited the families' of these witches and soon they started a new society of witches where they can do magic in peace.

after some years in the forest, life was normal and they made a small town, sometimes they travel to other places to find ingredients for their potions that were not in the forest, eventually, a witch made friends with a vampire though they did not know it yet once they did they were scared at first but the vampire explained that they were apart of a vampire society that tries to have better lives and not hurt others and they showed proof of it working (i won't say what though is a surprise) seeing this, the witch is amazed (and of course does know they are indeed a real vampire) so she told them they a witch and they both became best friends forever, soon the vampire met the other witches, the others were not so sure but the vampire proofed that they are not like how they were before and the witches see and accept them.

for wolfponies: the witches found their stolen book in a wolfpony pack, they gave it back got to know each other

for swamp ponies and mummies: a witch made friends, they soon got a meeting, they got to know each other and they are ok too

they all know about the vampires too and see they are not bad or at least in the process of it (the vampires turning from bad to good) and they accept or at least tolerate them they all made connections thanks to individuals becoming friends but are not seen as allies yet until they can be sure

My magic, real magic, comes from within. It's a skill you're born with. Curses are artificial, fake magic. It's conjured with potions and incantations; all smoke and mirrors meant to scare. But curses have no real power, they're just an old pony tale.

for the case of the witches here twilight is not exactly correct here is the thing she said real magic comes from within so when an earth or Pegasus pony uses magic they have to use spells so they can be able to use magic so technically it IS real magic and is not used for scaring unless for self defense

why are witch's magic diffrent then normal magic?

here is a list

. their magic contest of spells from books they keep on hoof just in case and say it with words so their magic comes from within they just need the spells so an earth pony or a Pegasus can use them too

. all pony (or even other creature if they so choose) races can use magic

. use potions mainly for medical stuff like zecora with that one potion that help applebloom's chipped tooth but also to enhance growth of plants or stuff for relaxing

. the use a glass balls infused with magic to see what is going on in diffrent places or to look for something or some pony

. like the mummies (and some wolfpony packs) they are highly spiritual, some use this to communicate with spirits of nature

or the dead and sometimes communicate with unknown forces but i want to leave it a mystery and is mostly the mummies that do that (depending on the individual)

where did these spells where an earth or Pegasus pony can do magic come from? well maybe the very first witch found a way (perhaps by inventing it somehow) testing on her self maybe she was a unicorn but she did not use her horn to do magic only her hoof she said a spell and it worked
