Some baby animals grow faster than others. Meerkats are one of the sort who are small and then big seemingly within the blink of an eye.
We personally love this age, because they're mostly past the point where they're very young, tiny and fragile and are able to somewhat keep up with the adults.
Species: Meerkat (Stokstaart)
Latin name: Suricata Suricatta
Originates from Southern Africa.
Current status: Least Concern.
