I havn't really drawn in about a month, thanks to some pretty heavy stuff. When I was finally ready to pick up my stylus again, I wanted to do the most self indulgent thing I could - and I decided that I didn't really care how this turned out. No specific style or endgoal in mind; just draw and mush color around until it feels good and in a place that's done. I really like how it came out and I want to get messier with my paintings + preserve a lot of my sketch in them in the future, I think. I really like the falloff of detail.

Ila in heat; her father Idris in rut and tusk displaying at her. Male kelt lose their canines and grow tusks for as long as rut lasts, and a few other changes. Most notably, petals also change color. Idris's petals have always changed to light gray/white no matter his age. It just uh, adds to the old man aesthetic now. 8T;;
