- Mixed Media (acrylics, colored pencil, composited in PS)Four studies of Capt. Sheridan, Delenn, Mr. Garibaldi, & Capt. Lochley from famed TV show Babylon 5. These portraits are some of the strongest I've rendered so far in the above mediums. Thought I would throw them out. Hope to one day do a complete painting to this much faved TV show. Enjoy!

Thanks. The scan doesn't do the actual painting justice. He looks a little "craggy" in the gallery shot. I miss the show too. Ever watch Crusade?

Crusade was a spinoff show to B5. Sadly like, dear Firefly, the show was sabotaged from the inside by the network (TNT) and only lasted 13 episodes. You should check it out on Netflix or at your local video rental. Not as good as B5 was but had the potential.... Oh well

Thanks for the interest and comments. Delenn's expression could be coming off a little stern from the camera shot but I was hoping to evoke a mood of solemn strength in her portrait harkening to her "breaking" of the Grey Council. Thanks again.

Wow, I saw this and was immediately caught on attention, loved Babylon 5 when it was on. The Sheridan portrait you have done here is really well done looks very lifelike.
The one of Delen is also well done, but her mouth comes off as a little hard, her character even when solemn had a more softened expression.
Your use of detail and subtle shading and color to get proper flesh tones, light reflextion on skin and the lines of the face and actual detail to make the hair look really real, is exceptional.
I wish you full success on your painting and future works you definately have quite a bit of talent here
