Description
History:Hera was the wife and one of three sisters of Zeus in the Olympian pantheon of Greek mythology and religion. Her chief function was as the goddess of women and marriage. Her counterpart in the religion of ancient Rome was Juno. The cow and the peacock were sacred to her. Hera's mother was Rhea and her father Cronus. Hera was known for her jealous and vengeful nature, most notably against Zeus's lovers and offspring, but also against mortals who crossed her, such as Pelias. Paris offended her by choosing Aphrodite as the most beautiful goddess, earning Hera's hatred. Her symbol used to be a straight column, but later on she was depicted with the fruit of a pomegranate or a lily flower. Also she was shown wearing a crown made of stars.
The peacock feathers are searched from Google so I have no idea who they belong to (I've found them in several places). She turned out to be a diva here.

Positively Lovely!! As Hera should be. As Goddess' were added to the pantheon, Her powers seemed to diminish.

I don't plan on coloring this work, since the whole project was meant to be only in black and white. But I'm glad you like it. ^_^

She looks great! I'm writing a chapter for a Book on the Goddess...so, it's personal. But curious how you thought of the stars. Similar to the Virgin Mary thought, which is interesting as i bring up a similarity in the chapter.

I read that she was also pictured in a crown or a diadem made out of stars, so I thought it would be a nice accent, and it would make the whole character look like a diva.
