i made this for my sister-in-law's baby shower on sunday.i really liked the way this turned out; originally i wanted to do beige and green, but it was pretty slim pickin' at the wal-mart i got the stuff at...
my very first diaper cake! 96 size 1 diapers, 2" pink satin ribbon, .75" green ribbon, and 1/8" fuchsia tied in bows!
there are some goodies stuffed into the centre of the layers, and the gerberas on the top are fake (obviously, lol!)

As everyone else did, I loved this! I also thought it was real when i saw the thumbnail, but you did such a nice job its no surprise really. The flowers on top are a nice touch.I am definitely using this for the next baby shower i get invited to.

I love these "cakes." They're so adorable and definitely usable! You did a really good job. I like the way the diapers are sort of curved.

thanks!! i really didn't want to do the whole 'rolling' thing and putting elastics on each diaper... makes it too hard to actually use the things. this way they can just pull them out as they want to use them.

haha, yeah, that's what i thought the first time i saw one of these things! and then i realized that it was quite a neat idea and i couldn't wait to try it.
