Description SCENE:
Outside the TARDIS. Typical Villain-of-the-Week lair.

The Gentleman is tied to a chair. Murphy is in a cat carrier. The Villain of the Week, is standing with his back toward the door and has just finished his monologue.

Gentleman- Yeah. Fascinating stuff. But you might as well let me go now and surrender. At this moment a unit of Gallifrey's finest warriors are coming to rescue me and destroy your doom machine.

Villain- It's not a doom machine! And I find it very hard to believe that Gallifrey would send any warriors to help you. Never mind an elite unit.

Gentleman- Er. Would you believe five highly trained warriors?

Villain- I don't think so.

Gentleman- How about, one highly trained warrior, a disgruntled librarian, and a popular singer?

Villain (stares, shocked)- How did you even get in my base? Even with the help of the cat, (he kicks at the carrier) no one as crazy as you could possibly have gotten past the traps...

The Villain is hit from behind by a microphone stand.

Ziggy Stardust- See? I knew it would come in handy.

Librarian- Hang on Murphy. I'll get you out of there!

She heads for the cat carrier.

Gentleman (sarcastically)- Thanks for your concern.

Ziggy- Right. Sorry.

Ziggy unties the Gentleman.

Commander- You two get The Gentleman and the cat out of here. I'm going to blow up his doom machine.

Villain (muffled, from the floor)- It's not a doom machine! It's a-

Commander- Yeah. Don't care. Making it go boom.

The Commander hits various buttons on the console to no effect. Frustrated she kicks the console base.

Computer- Self destruct sequence activated. Doom Machine self destruct in 60... 59...

Commander- You, sir, are not the stupidest moron with a doom machine I've ever faced, but you come close.

The Timelords, and Murphy, exit. The Gentleman managing to kick the Villain on his way out.

Villain (still on the floor)- It's not a doom machine...

Look. It's like, six chicks and a dude. OF COURSE he's in distress. It just stands to reason.

Also, well done with get smart. I vote that the Gentleman seeks to emulate Max Smart.

MUST...MAKE...THESE...INTO COMICS....

Point. In this scene, however, he happens to be in distress not directly caused by the mob of female Timelords.

I had the Get Smart idea for awhile. It was a toss up between the "Would you believe..." gag or something involving THE CRAW, but I couldn't think of an idea for THE CRAW, so I went with option one.

DO EET!

Well, you know, that's probably a first for him. This is a rescue, not a...what's the opposite of rescue?

He TOTALLY needs to whip out Get Smart all the time. You do it really well.

Abandonment, endangerment, imperilment.

Thanks!

Somehow, I can see this being a typical day for the Gentleman...

Captured by villains, almost ignored in the rescue attempt, yet still managing to get some sort of revenge for his capture?

He could probably pull off his own spy spoof series if that's the case.
