oh yes it is. harvest moon and hunter's moon are the same.. and we often have orange moons here.. must be because of all the sand-dust in the air??

Yes. Prismatic atmospheric refraction of a blue filter bias, as you describe it. I love orange moons. They signify major events. The way of the Ancient Ones.
