you know richard.. thank you.. i feel more and more at him in this abstract-surreal style. .. and believe it or not.. it takes me longer to create such an image .. than any of my old photomanips.. these are also photomanips of course but the process is quite different.. it takes.. longer.. i have to stop inbetween.. walk away.. let the image.. settle.. breathe.. talk to me.. and then i can continue.. strange. but it feels good making them

I am fascinated by your ability to take texture and colour and create a piece that is suggestive of the title, without the title. The art just sort of jumps out and grabs the viewer. I am going to do some terraforming in the garden today after it dries off a bit and then trim the border aound the fire pit. Yesterday it rained a lot. After the rain stopped, I went down to the garden to observe moisture travel in the soil. I saw water pooling up at the low corners of the hills.
My goal is to level out the trenches around the hills and cause the water to be more evenly distributed around eah hill. The dirt removed during levelling will be put on the hills to give more nourishment to the plants since it is full of fertilizer already.
Next, I will finish the exposed dirt border around the fire pit. This will serve as a flame block and make the fire pit much easier to mow around. Eventually, I plan to aquire some river stones to finish the pit since all that is there now is cinder block rubble from previous projects and stones plucked from the garden.
