Personality :

Giulia is a very very very self-confident woman, as much in her capacities than in her looks. She knows she's attractive, and uses it as a weapon. Surprisingly, that confidence of hers make her really admirative of people stronger than her.
She's very calm and calculative, almost always keeping her cool and never really snaps at people. If she hates someone, she'll simply ignore completely their existence, or if she deigns look at them, it will be with the most contemptful eyes there can be. Though, if the person manages to piss her off enough, she might blatantly tell them she hates their guts. According to her, letting your feelings get in your way is an immature mistake. Consequently, she doesn't have any problem with lying to anyone, except the people she truly respects, and of course with killing since it's her job. In fact, you can say without exagerrating one bit that she's pretty much insensitive. She barely ever felt guilt in her life.
Also, she's quite the neat freak. You'll go straight to her 'black list' if you ever mess up her perfect haircut or stain her clothes. And believe me, you don't want to end up there.
Despite all that, she's a true closet mama. A real tiger mommy if someone ever caused harm to anyone in the famiglia. She secretly loves taking care (meaning hardcore scolding if you slack off) of people and has a soft spot for children. She'll never admit it, even if her goal of becoming a teacher betrays her a bit. Giulia somehow thinks that she'd look weak if that was found out, so she carefully makes sure that part of her stays hidden. She'll tsundere on you if you point that out e v e

History :

Ever since her birth, Giulia was brought up with only one thing in mind : she had to be the best. Her family had always told her over and over that she was special, better than all the other kids etc etc. No matter what, they wanted to believe that, even though the little girl lacked something quite important : empathy. She didn't feel any guilt, nor did she had a single care of what others could think about her. Her own person was plenty enough. That way of thinking made her either hated or admired by her fellows in her ballet school. Well, most of the time she was hated. She had a gift for pissing off people when she was younger. With time, she understood that it was smarter not to say anything sometimes.
Even though Giulia looked like she had nothing to prove to anyone, her upbringing made her pretty harsh on herself. She absolutely wanted to be perfect in her own eyes, according to her own standards. Those days ended when she met a dance teacher, who became sort of a fatherly figure for her. He taught her that she should loosen up and managed to be one of the very very few people she didn't want to disappoint.
Soon after, when she was 15, she met Alessio in an undergound concert. They teamed up to fight a gang who was harassing people for a rent. The truth was that the gang was hired by politicians who wanted to extort some money out of the underground thing. Pissed off about that whole thing messing up her favourite hang out place, Giulia and Alessio, whose interest had been picked, investigated the matter. Problem solved. During that adventure, the girl developed some kind of respect towards Alessio, mixed with incomprehension. She couldn't figure him out at all, and the fact that she even tried surprised herself. Uncounsciously, she had put him in the people-she-doesn't-want-to-disappoint case. They hung out from time to time afterwards, getting to know each other more until he asked her a few years later to join his famiglia. Proposition she accepted (secretly) gladly, playing it cool of course.
