Oh yes, of course - it's just that that combo is really overused in some areas *coughHollywoodcough* and neither colour really suits her skin I think. I mean, things are the colour they are, right? But if they aren't their own colour then can they not be teal and orange either?
Putting my obsession to one side, however, it's a lovely picture of a lovely girl - bit sassy for my taste and not as happy that it's summer as you might hope but still a good job of drawing.

I appreciate you clarifying what you meant. Do you find her skin too pale? These are the original colors I painted it in: [link] but felt they were a bit too dull so I used Photoshop's "auto levels" command and the brighter ones are what came out of it 
And I actually hate summer; way too hot for me. D:
