Thanks!
You are one of the few that actually give tips about the art, and since, in my opinion you are one of the best, we certainly appreciate it!

i'd love to know your workflow on sculpey too Mark. not easy to bake one this size. i have ofetn wondered if you do a proportion of your figures in epoxy and then layer the sculpey on after so you can work without concerning yourself about very thick areas of sculpey.?

I do sculpt a core shape on the wire armature with super sculpey bulking it out.
leaving areas at the joints open for pose adjusting. I then bake it. Then I sculpt
over that with SS for a firmer armature form.

When you said SS at the end there, did you just mean super sculpey again? I've read some people use primo after baking the core.Β

Amazing!
Do you bake the model many times and add on top, or is it one take???
I'm trying to do something similar, but I'm afraid to rebake because it might break...

Stunning work as always Mark, the detail and precision is spot on and the likeness is clean and crisp.

You are amazing and I am jealous of your ability to smooth out the clay so well. It's very nice.
