The story of the comicbook "Thorgal" is about a man from the stars adopted by vikings and named Thorgal Aegirson. When he grows up he has lot of different adventures, often involving german mythology. The blonde on the left is his wife, and a princess of the vikings. The one the right is, on the contrary, his arch enemy, and in one short episode also his lover.
