Description Just some quick sketches I did of characters from the Hobbit/Lotr for a realism study. They were done using my new favourite coloured mechanical pencils! Even though I was hoping for character likeness, I was mainly just practicing certain aspects like realistic hair which is an abundance on all these characters except for Gollum xD
I wanted to go over them with ballpoint pen but might do that later x3

Gaaah, these are all amazing! Such brilliant likenesses, you've captured them fantastically! And kudos on the hair, it all looks very touchable and soft <3

Also, mechanical coloured pencils?! Where can i get these?! *Loves drawing in mechanical pencil*

Oh! I got mine at an art store called Curry's... But maybe there isn't that store where you live? They could be available to order online. They are called Pilot Color ENO and are in .7 led size. Curry's carries a bunch of them but not enough refillable leds so I'm probably going to have to find some online. I'll tell u if I find a good site to purchase them from! *highfives* Me too, mechanical pencils are the best!

Yes, they are!! and they are comfy to use too (they're called Pilot Color ENO and in .7 led size) The only thing is I can't find led refills for light blue at my art store =_=
