Description A bowl I made with the intention of carving it into a Yarn Bowl.

A Yarn bowl being a bowl, with a slot and or hole carved into the side, to allow a small ball of yarn to stay stationary while in use. I will post more pics when I have completed the carving process.

This particular bowl is made out of Silver Maple, and the multiple worm holes are filled with Coffee Grounds and CA

Thank you for your kind words.

As for the shape I often subscribe to the theory of "less is more"

Thank you! I haven't decided for sure to carve this one. I am quite happy with the results so far, and would hate to ruin it.
