It' Ia, not La. A character in my story. Initially she was the protagonist but now I'm not sure. She's important though... And her hand-weapon (gotta invent a name for them) is cool. *shamelessly self-promotes*Related content

I remember once I was on an online form and I somehow typed capital i instead of l for my email address. Β I can't imagine how it happened (it was the only capitalized letter), but I was never was getting the confirmation emails that I was supposed to get.

I think most fonts did differentiate them just fine.Β However, I always am careful to use the serifs (lines on top and bottom) in my handwriting for uppercase I's, give a litter curve to my lowercase l's, and to draw the top and bottom line of the number 1.Β Things got interesting in physical chemistry class when 'u' and 'v' started appearing in the same equations.

Thanks! Yeah I started doing digital art about a year ago, when I bought my wacom drawing pad. I'm still not as good as I am on paper, of course, but I'm learning. right now I'm struggling with lots of things (and it's getting a bit frustrating).

Which of the wacoom series did you get, is it from the Bamboo series or Intuos? I am glad to hear you got into digital arts. I barely check my notification centre since I am lazy but whenever you needed indepth critique on any piece note me or messeage me.Β

Bamboo series. I'm glad to hear that you're willing to help me! very often people only give compliments here on dA, which is cool but well, doesn't help me improve. Right now my main problem is drawing characters in an environment, you know, with a background or something, the white background is just boring. I can't draw landscapes very well in photoshop. I also have problems with coloring my characters. The initial rough sketches look really good to me but when I color them they become ugly

Character drawing in an enviroment is a more or less a tough topic. I have some books on the matter I could send you (though I am on holidays now) as far landscape in photoshop goes, it is pretty much the same as oil. I suggest to start off look at some of the videos from Bob Ross (I think they sell the whole series in IRan) and then I could tell you how to apply his technques to digital art.Β

Yes, I have the whole Bob Ross series, actually, but I haven't watched it yet, I thought "real" and photoshop painting are too different, better start!
