Last year was my final year for my degree in 3D focusing on game art. Our final project was a game about brawling vikings. I was mostly responsible for characters and weaponry and at the same time was enjoying Gotham City Imposters thoroughly.
Gotham City Imposters has a hatchet as part of its loadout options, it's basically a 1 shot kill skillshot and the most fulfilling weapon I've used in a game so far.
I decided I was going to make a fan art piece for the hatchet, but a viking hatchet.
I never finished it at the time but looking through old work today I liked how it was looking, did some work on it and will finish it at some point.
