Description

Some time ago, I was walking through a field of barley and noticed a band of hogweed blooms floating in the field boundary with a backdrop of fir trees and a mysterious depth beyond inviting exploration. I took a photo at the time and eventually it became a painting. I chose bold bands of colour to hopefully bring what I felt about it to life.
