Whew.... Just in the nick of time! My piece for my first month at ! Woo!

I got RedTallin (whose work is AMAZING by the way!) and I got to draw her awesome eel dragon! This was so much fun, I just love blues and greens and I really enjoyed slapping those colors together on this paper. I hope the markings are alright...  I didn't have a color ref to go off of so I did my best I also wasn't sure if she was a flying dragon or a strictly swimming dragon, so I gave her kinda a general watery looking background. ^^ I love drawing noodley dragons!

Anyway, I hope you like it RedTallin !!

Watercolor & a smidge of white gesso on arches hot press paper, approximately 12"x9"

Ahh, I don't know! ^^ He's been lurking around my gallery for awhiles.....

Thank you though! This was a new one for me, I tried a different approach to scales, it didn't turn out half bad! ^^

Wow this is great! I love the stripes and how they blur out a little bit closer to the belly. I also really enjoy the color palette here and those small details like the scale texture and how that back foot fades out in the BG. I'm glad you enjoyed your first exchange and I hope you come back to join us again C:
