Description
Decided to try a portrait on a smaller scale. Usually, my portraits are on A3 and the page displays most of the face; this was definitely a challenge! I decided to colour it a little more saturated, too, since the original photo is kinda dull.Tools: A4 Daler-Rowney Bristol Board, Prismacolor pencils (PS for adjusting colours and adding some highlights since I can't find my white pen!

You really have a great way of working with colored pencils and I'd say the time you spent on it is well worth it! The colors are very lovely. I love the way you colored the star on his shield! Everything is just so amazing and I still can't get over the colors! Β I'm practically drooling over here but there's so much I love about this drawing! To me this looks just like the poster and I could look at this all day!

It's taken me quite a while to get used to colour pencils, to be honest; I've been so used to working with graphite pencils and I personally find that they require maybe less than half the effort. Learning how to build and build layers of colours (and even mixing colours) is a whole new ball game!
I haven't got it framed as of yet, but I'm planning on doing a series of these pictures; I fell in love with each of the individual Age of Ultron posters, so I'm hoping to get through all of those and then frame the set

Kinda looks like Tron Legacy's Sam Flynn is wearing Captain America's outfit. xD Β How do you feel about the color of his lips? Β It looks realistic enough to me, but at the same time, there's something about pink lips that throw me off. Β How about you?

Well, lips are generally a pink-ish colourΒ (for fair-skinned people)Β unless you're a corpse. Besides, I did say I deliberately went with a more saturated look
