I loved SAI from the very moment I tried it out. Personally I have always found photoshop difficult to use as a drawing program... Very laggy and the tools don't fit my needs. You should try SAI out again, it's great! But then again, different strokes for different folks!

My favorite advice-- you can't improve on an empty canvas! Keep drawing, even if it looks like crud. Resist the urge to erase and redraw something that looks off-- just keep moving forward.
Β For example, if the head came out too big, or the hands came out comically small-- don't worry about fixing the drawing. Just leave it! Instead, the next time you make a new drawing, just remember to make the head smaller, etc.
Go outside your comfort zone, have fun, remember that nothing is ever going to look perfect so just roll with it.

Aah thank you~ and that sucks to hear! Several of my fav artists have deleted their old art too, which makes me very sad ;-; I like looking at old art whether it's mine or somebody elses!

I have some of them that I thought they looked good in the past, but yeah I now enjoy looking at them and seeing that I couldn't even draw eyes same size or stuff like really bad anatomy, lazy coloring, etc ; v ; kinda makes me happy that I've improved a little~ still suck at backgrounds tho
