In a ball park, how long do you recon this took you? I just don't have any patience and get so annoyed that my work in the digital senseΒ never seems to be getting anywhere fast.

Thank you so much! >//3//< <3 <3 Haha well, it took me at least 8 hours or so, I didn't work on it consistently, so I can't give an exact estimate 9 v 6 I don't usually put so much time into illustrations these days, and I nearly gave up on this one myself x-D But I don't know, I felt pretty happy with how this one was going, so I pushed through :'-)
I would recommend doing some light studies, it doesn't sound like much, but when you get an idea of dramatic values, or simple soft ones, it can give you a huge list of ideas for illustrations! That's what I've found since I started learning those principles at my college

Eight hours? I don't know if that'd be classed as quite or average time, but I get why you didn't work on it all at once. Trying to fit that around other priorities must have been a bit of a pain in of itself. Glad you persisted for this then ^^ paid off. I really do need to try and get that site you livestream on to work because I HAVE to see how you do digital work. I might be able to pick up a bit of patience from you watching you work however fast etc on your stuff.
I will try! I need to work on what type of style of digital work I even want to fall back to, and also colour theory. That's a necessity apparently
