Did you use a high ISO speed on this? I simply love the sky and the way it compliments the house, and yes, that light really adds something to the photo

Yes, I really love that little cam. I still carry it around all the time and I certainly didn't upgrade to a DSLR because of the image quality
Thanks a lot - glad you like the picture

I know you're standing at the station
I know there's nothing on
I know the alienation
I know the train's long gone
I can see how your face tautens
Like you've got something on
It makes me feel just rotten
But you've got something on - The Tragically Hip

great shot.

Wow Tolles Bild!

Unbelieveable! How do you get such intense colors?

Great shot. Full of emotion.

Veeery careful blending of several layers, set to a max of 20% opacity. Most are between 10 and 15 And thanks a lot - glad you like it

thehollywood In reply to Limaria [2007-02-17 20:54:24 +0000 UTC]

How many layers of the same picture do you use?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Limaria In reply to thehollywood [2007-02-20 01:07:46 +0000 UTC]

Ok, let's see... I don't have a version with all layers ever used but it was something like:
- 3 different exposures for more dynamic range. It's not a true HDR image but you can still get a lot more details
- about 3-4 layers set to multiply, overlay, screen to enhance contrast and color of various bits.
- a color fill and a photo filter layer for the blue
- 3 layers for the sky and the color match function (one of your best friends in manips)
- two more layers for hiding various distracting stuff like a parked car.

So, about 15 layers in total, I guess
