Description here we have the pieces for body, one leg is pinned one is not. The back I still have not patterned/done anything for because since it goes under the wings and is not seen I am going to do jersey mesh with a series of nylon straps to support the tail.

I have been working since 10am it is now after 1:30 and this is all I have to show for myself 8C

As some one commented yesterday the process of patterning, cutting and sewing sucks because it looks like you did so much less at the end of the day then say, a day of making a head frame (like yesterday)

*goes to sit and baste (pre-sew) these together all nice and seamless and then machine sew them.

PS I have to use a variegated kinda stripey brown now too (what I used for the back of the moose) as I realize I won't have enough of the jumble brown if I don't use it... I cannot ever get more of the jumble brown D8 it was bought from someone on DA who found it locally years ago. So now the stripey brown is for the inner legs and upper arms.

i hear you on spending a lot of time doing stuff and in the end doesn't look like much :/ I've been hand sewing my costume and feeling like i should be like half way done, but in reality it looks like so little T_T always worth it in the end though!

Reguardless of if it doesn't look like alot of work to some people, IT IS a CRAP TON A WORK.......It looks so beautiful and you take your time on each and every item you make. The fact that you spent 3 hours just on this one piece demonstrates just how much love, quality and hard work goes into everything that you sell. As for the people who scoff about how little you got done, well f**k them, I wanna see how long it takes THEM to do this!

This is just such a beautiful quad, and I think that your estimation of it costing $2000 more it well worth it, both for the materials and idea, but also of the magnitude of work that is going and will go towards this. Most people look at quadsuits and don't give a fig about how much designing, planning and effort they take.

I have those scissors...

I don't imagine pursuits should be easy to make.
