Description
After we had dinner with Saphira's parents (a lovely couple in their mid fourties) we decided to meet up in Saphira's room to perform the spell. "Alright, to cast Ecco of Memories I need a picture of Serena. Thank God I still have the one from my bedroom table, as my parents removed all portraits of her", Saphira said putting Serena's photograph in front of her. "She vanished six years ago when she was only seven! This spell should create an echo of Serena's last moves here."
Then she closed her eyes and folded her hands as if she was about to pray. A moment later a ghostlike light coming from the photo flew throughout the mansion. But nothing happened after that. "Guess, we have to wait a little", Lighane said to cheer up Saphira who looked instantly disappointed.
And so we waited ...
We must have fallen asleep because a loud noise made us wake up. A very big darkblue ray with black eyes and two ice blue glowing antennae was attacking the window of Saphira's room. "Oh no! This is a soul seeker", Lighane screamed pointing at the huge number of lights surrounding the monster. "We must have attracted it with our spell." Soul Seekers were aggressive hunters drawn to black magic, Saphira explained. They prey on their victims and won't stop until they finally devour their souls.
"We need to fight this thing", I shouted just when Seth entered the room. "What the hell is going on here?", he asked. "No time to explain, let's go get it", I urged them and pointed towards the giant creature. We swam outside and now it was time to try out a fighting spell I've learned recently.
But - oh no: I couldn't remember any of them properly. So I just tried out this one to fight the ray:
- "Swords Of Light"Β
- "Crimson Arrow"
- "Magi-Masonry"

Using my hands I imitate holding a bow. Focusing on this spell from the tip of my finger a gleaming blood red arrow appears. With a flick of the same I send it flying towards the creature, which is charging us. I manage to hit the right side of its body, hurting it and changing its course so it sails straight past us. But this ray is by no means defeated. It regains its senses and starts its counterattack.

I concentrate on my spell and my right hands begins to glow with a soft light. The ray, watching this new spark of magic starts to swim towards me, mouth wide open. Just a short distance in front of me a huge version of my own hand appears in midair. Recreating my own moves it digs deep into the seabed and grabs a huge rock before hurling it right at my enemy. The rock slams right into the charging rays head, which turns and retreats, shaking his whole body. But this attack did not distract it for too long. Its already going for a counterattack.

With my hands I draw 2 circles in midair, leaving a golden glowing trail flying in front of me. Waving I then send it flying towards the ray which charges at us angrily. On contact, the circle flashes and three golden swords come flashing from above, not harming the creature, yet nailing it right onto the seabed. It can't move ... for now!
