Britney Spears is free, but are you guys free too?

It is one thing to like a Celebrity's performance, but totally another thing to live your life through them. Sorry, I am just not into Hollywood elites and celebrity gossip and personal lives. It is none of my business, I have my own life, and I just like a celebrity for their art and not always them as a person.

But with celebrity worshippers, it is a totally different story. I knew some celebrity worshippers in my family and peers growing up, and it was rather sad and pathetic.

"BAAAAW! Leave the fanboys and fangirls ALOOOOONE! WAAAAAH!"

Maybe if those fanboys and fangirls didn't act like creepy stalkers to their idols and forgoing their own lives for a para-social life, it would be easier to leave them alone. But sadly, this para-social life problem has gotten out of hand, and social media is making it worse. In fact, I noticed a cult like hive mindset with Hollywood and musician elitists. They all have the same beliefs as one another (far left tree huggers, so they claim), and if one celeb goes against the hive mindset, they are cancelled and blacklisted (Gina Carano anyone?). That is not admirable, it is horrifying, yet celebrities worshippers just eat this crap up.

NEWSFLASH CELEBRITY WORSHIPPERS: Celebrities do not care about you or your lack of life. They only care about your money. Celebs are not going to greet you when you come home from work/college, put food on your table, pay your bills, nor make your beds for you. They are just their to entertain you, not validate you.

Sure, their might be decent celebrities out their who are anti-hive mindset, but you still have to give them space as well. It is only what decent adults do for one another.

If that's not enough, there have been horror stories of celebrity worshippers taking their obsession way too far, leading to stalking, attempted murder, or actual murder. Look up some celebrity stalker horror stories about John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Bjork, and Selena. I'm glad those murderers and predators are either behinds bars or an heroed themselves. But if only they got help before they became lost causes, and those horror stories would have never happened to begin with.

Tl;dr. I don't care about celebrities beliefs, creeds and whatnot. I just care about their entertainment and nothing else. Celebrity Worship Syndrome is a serious mental disorder and is underdiagnosed, sadly enough. Live and let live, get help for people with Celebrity worship issues, and more on with life (or, even get a life for that matter).
