Description
So these are the bulk of the tools I use in SAI when I draw. c:Pen Tool
I use this for flat colouring and shading. c:
Water Tool
I use this to blend shading. It's much nicer than the blur tool. xD
Ink Tool
I use this for lineart.
The lineart tool/layers can sometimes look tacky on my drawings. Dx
So I started using the ink tool. c:

thanks for this. I've been looking for how to use paint tool sai tutorials. I think its better than photoshop...I only use PS for scanning in lineart, cleaning lineart and erasing dust marks on my lineart then i switch to paint tool sai for coloring. It just looks better.Β

for paint tool sai i would use one tool and I do just one stroke but right after thatΒ it switches back to the other one I used before

A: Sadly yes, The reason why is because SAI uses pen pressure/sensitivity. Mouses don't use sensitivity since they aren't programmed for art software.

Their Ink Pen is just created with the pencil brush
