I like that you're walking in a direction that's blocked by trees. Its like your heading into a secret dimension - like you will press "E" in Skyrim and enter another realm lol. The diagonal of the line of trees creates a nice diagonal with the diagonal of walking direction . The right hand suggest firmness the way it touches the tree. The left hand seems more tentative and suggests a looming  mystery - reinforced by fore and middle grounds without an incremental  background . As small as the eyes are in this pic they still look evocative. Nice location and well used.

I don't know if it's just because you've followed my art for so long, but you got exactly what I was trying to portray in this photograph. To be honest, I really felt as though if I walked around that tree I would just enter a completely different realm, somewhere far away & filled with magic & danger. I don't know why, I feel very connected to that forest to be honest.

Glad to know I was noticing the right things. Watching your work for awhile definitely helps. Sometimes your work is casual and and other times its more deliberate and nuanced. I like both but you can have a knack for understatement that is pretty interesting. As a model you're legitimately beautiful but you dont beat the life out of works with it. Even when you look really nice the larger work stays balanced and other elements you use don't feel secondary and you don't look like just an ornament .   I always liked your mystical streak and lyrical elements. I think there is more to that than meets the eye in your case. I can understand your attraction for this spot just by the look of it. I have places like that here. I've often wondered why some places in nature seem deeper and alluring in a good way and some seem foreboding and tend to repel (at least in my case they do).  This looks like a healthy spot.
