First of all, I apologize if the wording is not precise, but I am neither an art analyst nor a critic, just a layman who loves literature. I can write what I feel.
The most important element of every work is to be able to identify with it, so it means something different to almost everyone. To me, this poem is about life itself and being responsible for our own destiny. As time passes, we become wiser and wiser, but we can get lost and it is not certain that others will show us the right direction to the last rays of the Sun at the end of our lives.
