Aroo!I'm not satisfied at all with this background, on the scan it looks not so bad but in real it is blurry :c. Anyway it was fun with salt
Background was done with watercolors and wolf - color pencils.

Aaaah, don't worry about the background! "Blurry" is the whole fun in using salt. Your picture is beautiful and very harmonious.

I was more disappointed that there is a visible difference between scanned picture and this seen with the naked eye. But it's all guilt of artifical light. In the natural light details are visible

Ah, I understand. I often have the similar issues with my own scanner. Although it even has a "professional" mode that allows for a lot of fine-tuning, I'm not a a scan virtuoso and mostly just try around in the less sophisticated mode until the resulting jpeg is at least decent.
But I still prefer scanning to taking photographs, whenever possible.
