A picture of some kind of straw with snow on it (it might seem like we have snow here now, but sadly we don't, not really at least, only about 1-2mm), taken in the woods near my house, outside Oslo, Norway. Had actually plans of taking pictures of the sunset, but my battery didn't last that long...this was actually the last picture I took before it "died" :/The picture is rotated, that's why it might seem a bit "weird"...!
Post-processing:
Made some adjustments in adobe raw, mainly to fix the light and contrast.
Added a black and white layer with a tiny blue hint and set the blending mode to soft light. Added two black and white layer with a bluegreenish tint and set the blending mode to multiply and screen on around 10-15% opacity. Reduced the noise, sharpened, cropped and rotated.

Great coolness to this, good job on the blue tint. One could maybe have wished for a darker background, but I'm just picking nits as always. (If you can nitpick, you should be able to pick nits...right?

I would definately have wished for a darker background, but I'm glad I at least got one dark spot around where the shot is sharp!

Ooh, I love it when it's white on the roads. I have no trouble driving in it, and everyone else drives really sensibly. Ultimate in traffic safety. Also it dampens the sound of the cars' tires so even the city almost feels like a forest or summat.
Yay, go get some snowy shots!
