Description
Finally...Another Digital Portrait. When I saw the reference pic I knew I had to paint it - with the gorgeous lighting and model.This is my third digital portrait, done in PSE.
Special thanks to who has taught me most of what I know in digital painting.
Notice this time I used a lot of "spatter" painting to achieve the skin texture - this one isn't plastic like my Scarlett Paining (I hope!)

EDIT: I totally forgot that I wanted to enter this into the Heroes contest by BikerScout. Every beautiful, strong, and powerful woman is a worthy heroine. And I learned how to paint like this through another hero, BikerScout himself. *cheesy* I know! lol...

It wasn't anything you said - I just worked really hard on this piece, but it didn't get very much dA love, y'know? I'm not sure what I should have done differently... Any ideas?

Ya know, that's a tough one, since my experience is that you just knever know what's gonna be a hit and what's not. Usually it's the ones you don't expect that become really popular. (the only one I did know that was gonna be a hit, was the eye study I did, which was also the reason I did it in the first place)
I looked at it closely and the only thing I could come up with, is that the pupil of her right eye (left for us) is not in the middle, making the expression perhaps a tad off. But even that is not so disturbing really....
It comes down to what people like, and it seems that this isn't one of those general

that's really beautiful!^^ the skin looks great, it's just on the arm it looks a little bit too tan, but maybe it should be..over all it looks very nice!

Thanks! The colors were originally the same, but then I added some of that Ember color on the shoulder just to mix it up a bit.
