[Main Quest]
You follow the river upstream, the night getting darker and darker. It was dire time you look for shelter. Running out of the small amount of light left you find there is no shelter on this side of the river. You cross the river, belly deep in water. After exiting the river and shaking off you leave the area, lifting your head up you;
A] Decide to spend the night by the river bank.
B] Decide to spend the night in a nearby cave.
C] Decide to spend the night among the bushes.

When Bean manages to haul himself out of the river, he stands shakily on the bank and looks around. The snow is melting in the sun, be he knows that it won't be enough to melt it all away- he'll need to find shelter where he can rest, as he sticks out like a sore thumb in the snow.
Bean sticks close to the river and follows it upstream, his legs throbs where one of the dogs had latched on, the stupid thing hadn't let go until it received a sharp kick to the head. The blood left a trail in the snow- easily traceable; he'd have to cross the river again to throw any followers off.
The grassland stretches forever, nowhere to hide in sight. Bean slows as the day wears on, and he considers sleeping by the riverside.
Just as the sun's glow slips into the orange of sunset- Bean sees the forest. It sits at the bottom of the mountainside, perfect.
It's easier to cross a river when not being chased by dogs; Bean finds a shallower part and wades across- his legs throw up the stones on the riverbed and send them rushing downstream.
Bean sets of towards the forest on the horizon as fast as he dares with his leg- a hurried walk.
He reaches the treeline when the sun blinks away over the mountain, and he squints at the dark shadows in the forest. It wouldn't take long to find shelter in there, that's if he doesn't run into any of the locals, anyway.

[SIDE QUEST]
You snort while exciting the cave, scooting your nose through the snow in search of breakfast when suddenly a soft growl draws your attention. A small bear cub waddle towards you, stopping and rearing up onto its hind legs to peer at you. It seems to be alone... You;
A] Move away swiftly
B] Sniff at the air and move closer to investigate the cub
C] Tilt you head and call to him.

You open your eyes to the sight of the sun, you get up to leave but notice something softly shining behind you a little further into the cave. Being a curious cat, you decide to investigate. Moving small rocks out of the way with you muzzle you find some small Rose Quartz gems!

It had been a long and tiring night, exhaustion making your knees shake and eyes droop. With a defeated snort, you fall into a light slumber, occasionally waking up to check your surroundings for a potential threat. Soon enough, the sun began to peek over the horizon, it’s warm rays blanketing you with light. Stretching, you blink the sleep from your eyes, yawning slightly. What do you decide to do?
A] Head to the river to quench your thirst.
B] Grab a quick bite at the clearing.
C] Head out once more.
