Cardboard is horribly un-permanent base, but damn if it wasn't fun to paint on.

Sweet! Hey, you know what's funny? One of my coworkers was describing a recent experience with ordering some books for her daughter, and how one of them was really depressing, and when she described it, it turned out to be the one you illustrated! I thought the odds of that were pretty impressive.
