Description
this was a concept character design for an overseas game company. the art director wanted to see how i would handle one of their characters in "my own style." this was the result. I've got a few more random designs like this. perhaps i'll post em at a later date.

Yes sir! I am currently in that situation. I have a potential gig with Imagineering back down in Florida if i can get my folio to where they want it to be by late August, so I am def in the keep that pencil flowing kinda mode!

thats freakin awesome! are you using some of your contacts from working down there? i wouldn't even know where to begin with that one. just not sure what they would want to see in a portfolio

Yeah I have asked a few folks that I thought would know what their looking for but most people say just bring your best stuff.
I'm gonna try to do some BG designs and other types of architecture. I see them looking for that type of stuff, but i got to still put my characters in there too since thats what I am more known for!
I got hooked up by someone i used to work with that saw my work. She is doing admin or something for them, and got me my in! You better believe I would try to hook up all the homies if I got my in! Haha It would be quite weird to move back there I think, but I still got a bunch a friends down there!

dude thats big time! i hope you're working hard on it. i'd be freakin nervous also. if it helps i'd check out the book "walt Disney Imagineering." I picked it up a few years ago and its amazing. it might provide some solid rference material.

Haha I own I think 5 Imagineering books! I love what they do! I just hope I am cut out for it! I have been structuring a pretty sweet concept, and now I am trying to put everything together. I share with you when I get more done!

sounds awesome dude! yeah i think if i was trying out for i gig with them, i would try to put together concepts for my own ride/attraction or anything that i could envision being on property. if you need any outside opionions, i'd be down to give you some feedback sometime.

From the thumbnail on the frontpage I expected this to be some pretty willow dryad, then it turned out to be a dude. A cocky lookin' dude with a utility belt and a goatee. Ahahaha.
