NOICE! I LOVE IT! I must ask, did you use watercolor or is it something, 'cause that is fabulous. I especially love the colors you've chose for this piece, it's very pleasing to the eye and absolutely stunning. the shading is on-point as well, which many others lack this. The creatures and characters in this art-piece are very unique are outstanding, another factor that you have definitely mastered. I only "problem" (which isn't a big deal at all whats-so-ever) is the lines are as smooth as I'm used to and to me are a little bit scratchy, but that is just my personal opinion and that doesn't effect the quality of this fine art piece at all. The hair on both the girl and the creature are professionally designed and definitely show how advanced you are, (which is extremely).
anyways, this art is absolutely stunning and I hope you have a wonderful day/night/ weekend! :^D

Hi! I am here for ProjectComment
Good piece! I see that you put a lot of effort in it! Probably a lot of hours!
I like the fact that you thought about your colour palette. The red and violets are in beautiful harmony.
I have a few thing to say :
(I use the word value here. In case you don't know, value is the degree of lightness of the color : light or dark. People often use this term because, example, dark is important, but being dark red, dark blue, dark brown is not important. Dark is the important part)
-Talking about colours, the blue sky on the left is great, but putting a few other elements in blue elsewhere would have helped. It would "confirm" the existence of the blue color in the composition.
-You got dark values in the skirt, but not much elsewhere. You could have put darker shadows in the brown creature for example. Like the blue, it would confirm the existence and the important role of the value.
-For the pose of your character, if you want a dynamic pose, making the knee on the left completely bent and the leg on the right more tilted to the right would make a more active pose, like a jump behind (but of course, it is in the sky so jumping might not be your goal). The pose you did would fit well for a character that is falling behind.
-For the composition. The white creature on the right, the vertical one, you could move it to the right a little bit and curve its body so that the tail would point to the character head. That would make the eye stay in the composition. As an example, the brown creature is looking left, which is great. If it was looking right, it would push our sight to the right, so, off the image, which is bad.
-There is a thing that you should try to avoid, it's tangents. Tangents are line that are touching. Like a circle having a line sitting on it. You've got a tangent on the bow and the cloudline, the arrow and the arm, the hair and the quiver, the brown creature tail and the white creature tail, the brown creature tail and the hand of the character, (almost) the knife and the bow. Tangents are bad, once seen, they can't be unseen. It disturb the eyes. Check this for an example : www.pinterest.com/pin/11906398… ; It's full of tangents and continuous lines. It's really hard to read because it has too much of them (also, too much details of equal importance). Continuous lines are lines of differents objects that fall into one line. This is also bad for readability.
I myself do tangents and continuous lines but I always try to not do it and I often discover them in my drawings months after I finished them, it's hard to avoid.
Keep up the good work!

ooooh, thnks thnks, I'll do better next time, indeed it is missing some blue, i didn't thought about it( the girl is indeed falling from the sky, as she prepares herself to shot the cloud with her magic arrow, one that creates an arrow rain) your composition tip would have made it so much better aaa, I'll see if I find any tutorials about tangents, I've never thought about them. o/ pretty thnks

No problem! You can ignore what I said about the pose since it is what you wanted to do. About tangents, I haven't seen tutorials about them, but some pro comickers pointed this in my drawings. Since then, I always noticed them in drawings! Everyone does that and we should not do it!

Hey there, I thought I might try and rustle up a critique for you.
Fist let me say that you did a fantastic job, I can tell a great deal of work and effort went into this piece. Great imagination too. That said, there is the occasional error running around. The most obvious of these is the size of her head. Basic figure construction says that a person's head in only half as larger as their shoulder ( or that their shoulders are twice as larger as their head). Next, you ear is a little small. Most of the time, the top of a person's ear alines with their brow while the bottom alines with their nose. Easy enough right?
Alright, my next qualm is with your arrow. I'm afraid that boss as it is, it is also a little impractical. Since it doesn't have much of a tip, ( where the tip should be, we currently have the rather flat snout of a dragon) it's not going to do much piercing. Artistic licence though. Continuing with the arrow , it should actually be placed above the hand gripping the bow that way the archer can rest it atop his thumb or finger. Without this support, it'd be impossible to aim since the arrow would constantly be falling down the bow stave ( we'd have something like a sideways pendulum effect as the arrow slides down the bow and the archer immediately raises it again).
Alright last thing. Her lower right arm fades into the background a little bit, meaning that it's a little difficult to see. The easiest way to fix this is by clothing her arm in the same red as her other arms ( you have to clothe the bottom left one as well). The far more complicated route is to have her reaching across her body to draw the knife from a hip sheath on the right side of her body. Still working on her lower right arm,( don't worry we're almost done). This is a strange way to hold a knife ( especially for a trained warrior) and her thumb is on the wrong side of her hand.
Whelp, that's all I got for you. I hope this helps and once again great job.
Fare thee well.

oh, i should have looked for references for bow and arrow XD oh but
this arrow is not intended to pierce anyone, it's a magic arrow that when shot on a cloud, it rains arrows above the enemys, and for the lower arms, they are mirrored versions of the upper arms, so the thumbs are mirrored too, I'll do a drawing maybe, explaining her lower arms' anatomy XD, well, thanks for the comment and I'll definetly lookfor references and do some anatomy studies o/
