I started this as a try to make my own version of Beast from Beauty and the Beast, but it ended up to be just kind of more lion-y fan art.But anyway, it was relaxing to paint all this fur!
I saw the movie and I liked it! Nothing super special, but it was cute and visually very nice! I also liked the new versions of the songs.

Reminds me a bit of the Beast from the french version of the beauty and the beast movie (La belle et la bΓͺte), only with horns.

Sooooo beautiful! I have the laptop mouse pad to draw with so I can't do the whispy fur texture without using a brush that is meant for it and I usually am not satisfied with the results. Also what is the width and height for your drawings and what programs do you use? I use solely FireAlpaca and I am getting a hang of it.Β

Ah, laptop mouse pad isn't the best for painting yeah. I use a tablet myself.
I usually work with 2300x2300px size images. And I use Photoshop CC

ohh very dark. I struggle with fur. It's my worst enemy when painting and it just blows my mind how well you can execute it, even in a quick paint like this.

Thank you very much! It's somehow surprising to hear since painting fur is probably the easiest and most fun for me, haha. But I've practiced it a lot so that's probably why.

Yeah, I like painting skin and bones. I really dislike painting animal based stuff, like fur, feathers, scales. One could say it's because I haven't had enough practice which would be entirely true
