I don't know about Fang but I think it is a safe to say that Yu and Saeko are related. I mean blue haired badasses with swords does it get any more clear.

I have a theory that the person who drew the Maximum Ride manga has seen D. Gray Man or read the manga, because there's also a few bit part characters in the Maximum Ride manga that look like D. Gray Man characters.

Its possible. Of course, the Maximum Ride manga is based off the actual books by James Patterson, and the characters are described that way in the books. Depending on which series came first, it may also be the other way around. Or its coincidental.
