Second version of my baby cat with a colored butterfly this time! I'm not too sur about it...I'm afraid the butterfly looks too much like a cartoon....please tell me what you think..or what I could have done to make it look more realistic.
I took time to darker the drawing a little bit, to have more contrast and richness...I'm not quite sure if it is too dark ...again tell me what you think

I like the contrast between the kitten and the butterfly. I've seen many drawings and photos,where a specific character or subject,was in color,while the rest was in black and white. Or in this case,grayscale. The details in this drawing are very fine. Great work!

This is great! Such a lovely drawing. The cat is really well drawn and you've done a great job at drawing the hand! I think the butterfly may be a liitle bit too bright but the picture is wonderful. Nice job!

that is beyond amazing!!!! i dont no if this will help, but maybe the butterfly is a bit bright compared to the pic so that is what makes it look cartoonish but it is so brilliantly made that it doesnt really matter!!!
