Hi everybody! It's been a few weeks since my last submission! But it's Summer now so I prefer to be outside, making the most out of the sun and warm temperature!Anyways, I feel like it's been ages since my last animal drawing so I felt like renewing the "fur experience" !
My reference picture is out here somewhere on DA, but I don't remember who I took it from, and apparently I didn't fav it neither...so if you find the pic...just let me know, so I can advise that person I used his/her work.

It looks so real and the detail that you put into it is amazing I can draw really good and I would love to be able to on this website but I don't know how Β but any way yoU do way better drawings then me Β there awesomeΒ

Hey thanks a lot! You can do like I did, I got inspiration and tutorials here on DA. I practiced, tried differents andΒ bought different things, paper, pencils, eraser, etc. You have to experiment!

"The kittens are very adorable. I love how you captured snuggle expressions. <3 But I feel like this pic's been over-blended. There aren't any really dark or any really light shades. The whole thing has a grey quality to it. "
"The detail of the fur is amazing! I love the faces of the cats as well, although the one in the back looks a bit squeezed (but that might just be the reference pic). The whole picture might need a bit darker shades and brighter highlights, but apart from that it's great."
"Too cute! And wow, what dedication to take care of all those little hairs! Their faces and expressions are really well observed, and the pattern of their coats is especially well done. I do however, think it gets too detailed in some places. For example, the bent paw in front could do without the level of fur detail it gets - it sort of distracts from the cute faces behind it. Also, it may have been better to leave the background ambiguous - strange it may sound, but that would actually make the background look more complete and cared for. But these are relatively minor adjustments to a great piece!"
"Squee! Kittens! I have some myself at the moment so I can definitely say - you captured them very life-like! The sleeping one is absolutely adorable, the eyes of the right one so gorgeous - the highlight make then absolutely realistic, and the whole face has a lot of character. I very much like how you did the fur, it would just be nice to see more of shadows to get it more 3-D. also where the furs meet, it might be nice to see some strands crossing (even if that wasn't in the reference) - it's a bit too undefined darkness there. But otherwise, it's an amazingly cute picture, making people smile and squee whenever they see it

Here you go:
"Firstly the fur is a little spiky and going all over the place. Yes it's cute and makes it fluffy but I suggest making the paw fur shorter. Especially around the joints of the left cat. The right cat's right eye (it's right) that's being squished doesn't really look squished. Maybe make the eye close a bit more since cats would wince with something near it's face. Also I think the Left's muzzle isn't really touching the right's cheek. It just looks a little flat (the cheek) in my perspective. Maybe add more highlights to make it have more depth."

Haha the ones on DA are not that bad. that's when I started to say: Ok...It might be good enough to show them on DA. But the ones before...are B.A.D. lllol!!
And you know what ?? I'm totally uncapable of doing a Manga drawing like yours! So you see...everyone's got their own style of art. If you continue to draw, you will develop more skills and techniques for the type of drawing/art that really passionates you and you will become a pro! And then after, you could try another style if you want to challenge yourself.
But hey don't discourage or bring you down like that!!! From what I understand you are still young, so give yourself a chance!! If you are not young... Hell!!! give yourself a chance anyway!!!
There are plenty of amazing artists here for inspiration and motivation. That's how it worked for me and how it is still working. I have goals or results I want to achieve. You need help?? There are TONS of tutorials out here to teach you shading, blending, skin, hair, etc. Everybody started at the bottom of the ladder.. You see no one wakes up one morning and says : "Hey I might be good at drawing, let's try to draw like the best of the best!!!"
So that was my moral for tonight (9:40 PM out here
