Um...It would be too long, but I got help from different tutorials. In fact, it's moslty with tutorials that I learned how to draw hair. Here are some great tutorials:

Aww thank you! I still struggle with hair, but somehow, the result is great in this drawing. I guess it's because of the paper I used for this one.

Thank you! I use Smooth Bristol Board a lot. I love both of them, but they are very different to work with. It depends what outcome you wish to have. With vellum, the result is a lot more "grainy" than smooth. I like it too. Somehow I find it easier on Vellum to get darker tones, the graphite really sinks into it. Blending works great on both of them. It depends on the subject too. This one was great for that texture, but my drawing of Neytiri is better on smooth bristol I think. Can't explain why..it's more a feeling than anything else.
