I searched in "commissions" groups and I searched "commissions" in search engine When doing that you find all artists who propose commissions and you can have a look of existing commissions (to check if you like their style ).

I also look in favorites of other commissioners And to find them, when I see a commission from an artist I watch, I click on commissioner profile

I searched DA for the topics that I like to commission and then checked the artists of the pictures I liked...
...so far it was a "mixed success" I'd say.
